This place makes me feel so comfortable. Wished we got to stay a few more days to explore the lodge perks. The owner: AL is incredibly kind, interesting and has the best stories about his past bussniess and how he got the lodge. He even showed us around the houses, the rooms and just told us to enjoy just respect others in the rooms.
The lodge has a hot tub, tables all over, river view and beautiful acres. 😍 the house is completely comfortable, big beautiful fire place...kitchen full stocked to cook and our room even had a kitchenette..we arrived at 12: 00 am needed a last minute place to stay & it was quick and easy. I'd like to have a wedding venue here...it's perfectly beautiful

As DJ Rockalot i performed a wedding out back, never made it inside but the grounds are nice. My subs were dimming the tent's lights lol

Very cute rustic place to stay, no major amenities or TV in the room. I stayed in room 3 and it had large tub to soak in, just no shower. It was a smaller room with a firm queen sized bed. There is a large fridge and a counter with a double burner to use. It's literally a cabin on the Russian River. There is a spacious back yard for playing games if you have children. The owner Al lives here with his wife, he is a wonderful host who very friendly and caring towards his customers. Check in and time after 3p and check our is at 11a, he has a common kitchen that anyone can use, and he even made breakfast in the morning for us.

I have been trying to contact Guerneville Lodge at 15905 River Road, Guerneville, CA, 95446 during business hours for several days to check room availability, but received no response. Their website also lacks a booking option. When I finally spoke with a male receptionist, he was extremely rude and hostile simply because I asked about room availability for specific dates. His behavior was unprofessional and lacked any sense of customer service. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. I do not recommend Guerneville Lodge.

Gorgeous rustic atmosphere. Family friendly, as long as your family is friendly, lol. Enjoyable experience. I would do it again, given the opportunity.

I hate to leave a bad review of a small business but it's mostly so that the owner can improve his business. There is some good, some bad to this hotel so I'll try to be fair.

It should be noted that this is not a dog friendly hotel. He does offer one pet friendly room but you need to call the hotel to book this room. Be aware that third party sites mistakenly call this a 'pet friendly hotel.' It is not. This isn't the owners fault but he should try to make this much more obvious on his website.

Be aware that this is not a quiet place to stay. The road noise is very loud. Also, if you are staying in the hotel the itself (not camping on the grounds) you will hear everything from people walking around in their rooms, to people checking in at all hours of the night, to drunken guests loudly shouting in the common areas.

The beds are not comfortable. They are old and really could be upgraded.

During fire season I was shocked to see multiple open fires in the camping grounds. I'm assuming this is legal because it's private property but still seems pretty irresponsible. Never mind the fact that it already smelled like smoke when I was there but it made the air quality even worse.

However, the grounds itself are nice and there are plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied. The river is right there so if you want to take a canoe or kayak out, you can.
The location is hard to beat as well. You are within easy walking distance to town but be aware that the road can be a little busy and the sidewalks aren't really that large.

The hotel does supply groceries and access to a full kitchen, which is great.

Very overpriced for what you get. The bed was so old it actually sloped downward and we had to turn around to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed. The noise from the road is quite loud and invasive. The lodge itself is beautiful and the piece of property it sits on lovely, but I would not go back for the price.

Delightful old-school place to stay. No TVs, deep dark wood lodge atmosphere, green space behind the property, and lush trees everywhere.
Shared kitchen is a welcome edition, and the manager is personable without being overly friendly. It's a perfect balance.
