Had excellent experience working with Halo. Sales and techs were very knowledgeable. System was explained, sized, installed and up and running without any issues. Installation was on schedule and completed neatly without issues. Very satisfied with performance and would recommend Halo to anyone.

It’s been 15 months since Halo did my residential install in 2021 and I’ve been very happy with it from start to finish. Morgan and the rest of the Halo team I worked with were great and very responsive. Answered all my questions and then some. My 27 panel system has actually put out slightly more than expected over a 12 month period. My advice is to get a system that puts out 125% of your current usage. I went 110%. Because when your electricity is “free” you will run your air conditioning, etc a LOT more after the install - knowing it’s covered. My bill is $11 per month.

I am a satisfied customer. Brock me a reasonable bid, showed me the incentive programs in place, and did a professional job installing my system. A special shout out to my customer service rep Juliana who has answered all my questions post installation questions thoroughly and quickly. You would do well to hire Halo Solar rather than the hucksters who come door to door.

They company is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They did a great job of explaining the process of solar and how the tax credits work. The installation crew worked quickly and was very good about communicating on locations of solar equipment. The only reason I am not giving Halo 5 Stars is due to the fact that I waited 2.5 months after all the installation was completed for the system to be turned on. I had to make multiple phone calls to Halo to check the status of the project. The issue was due to an electrical transformer upgrade that was need to be completed by the utility company (which Halo did cover the cost). I understand that utility companies run on their own time, however when I questioned Halo multiple times what was taking so long I was told the the information for the upgrade was sent in a timely manner but the utility companies "system" had a glitch and did not receive the request for work. I understand things happen but where was the follow-up? One recommendation for someone getting a new install would be to have them check your access to the grid prior or first thing when decide to go with solar. We all know utility companies work on there own hours.

I highly recommend Halo Solar. They just installed a 5.8kw roof system for us, the whole process was hassle-free and went like clockwork, and so far the system is outperforming estimates and on track to cover 100% of our electricity use.
We got estimates from two other installers, Halo was superior to both of them from the beginning: Halo was low pressure, professional, and up front about costs, equipment, output estimates, and warranties. Installation came a couple of weeks ahead of schedule and was professionally done, and Halo handled all the paperwork and interaction with Ameren necessary to get the system turned on and to get the state incentive payment. No complaints at all, and we are thrilled to watch our kilowatt-hours accumulate.

It was a great turn-key project from start to finish. I didn't have to do anything other sign documents!

The sales team walked me thru the process from my initial inquiry to job completion--and did all the paperwork! It was SO EASY. I didn't have to fill out any confusing forms or contact the power company. Any questions I had were answered quickly and knowledgeably.

The install crew did a great job too. They kept the job site clean and removed all unused materials and refuse promptly. I was impressed to see them tied-off and working safely on my roof. They did extremely neat and professional work that I am happy to have on display.

Best of all, the system is performing better than we had anticipated. My Electricity bills are dramatically lower!
