We stayed here 2 nights this weekend. Great value! Rooms were very clean and customer service was great. We stayed on the bottom floor 205 and we were able to see the top of the rock. Loved the fact we didn't have to pay extra for parking. It was walking distance to all the restaurants and shops!!!

I stayed at this hotel because it had good reviews but I think peoples expectations are low. I found this hotel to be very noisy(street noise and guest noise). I stayed in the downstairs room and could hear the loud footsteps of the people staying above me on the second floor. The second night I was kept awake till 1030 listening to the people in the next room, banging around and talking.(thin walls)Both mornings that I stayed there I was woken up at 4:30 by the sounds of other visitors car horns going off☹️ The rooms are dark and outdated. The toilet seat was loose and the bath tub did not drain. I do not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of others to choose from.

I have stayed at Harbor House twice, and each visit exceeded my expectations. This is one of the best value stays I have ever booked, and the people and location are treasured bonuses. Close to all the wants and also a market for the needs. The partial ocean view rooms offer gorgeous sights and lovely sun. The downstairs rooms have really nice picnic tables in a fenced and semi-private area. Both rooms I stayed in were clean, and the housekeeping services were nicely personalized. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good value and pet-friendly accommodation.

My wife and I stayed at Harbor House Inn for two nights during our west coast road trip in February 2025. It was clean and comfortable, and we’d definitely stay here again.

We had a friendly welcome, and had paid for a sea view room. We were given room 210 on the second floor. There was a sea view, but it was a little distant.

We parked our car right outside/below the room. It was free.

Easy stroll into town. There is a shop / off-licence right next door; they have a great selection of beers!

Most beautiful rooms in the rock and I love the people.They're so kind and so generous first I love how they change the rooms around too.Especially the curtains I think they're awesome I think that's a very good value for your money.Because you're close to everything and you're close to the rock

We stayed in a deluxe king room with ocean view at the Harbor House Inn for 1-night in late Dec ($120). The harbor House is a typical roadside motel with 2 2-storey buildings separated by the interior parking area. Our room was large, with a comfortable king bed, glass-fronted refrigerator, and a small balcony with an obstructed view of Morro Rock 3 blocks away over the roofs of other buildings. The shower was fine, with instant hot water. The room was clean and well maintained, but somewhat dated. Overall, quiet and comfortable for an overnight stop but nothing special. Good value for the price.

The Harbor House is a very nice Inn to stay at very friendly staff when checking in and if you have any issues. The rooms are roomy and clean. It is centrally located to go either down town or down to the Embarcadero. Highly recommend.

Decent hotel and affordable, but you get what you pay for. Rooms are hit and miss. Sheets had holes in them. If you stay downstairs, be prepared to hear the upstairs neighbors and their every step. You can hear doors slamming 2 or 3 rooms to either side of you. Location is good, though.
