My mother in law (who I’m not a big fan of) brought my son’s PlayStation 4 to get looked at. She told the guy here I broke the HDMI cable (which I didn’t but oh well plus my son broke it like 5 months ago and his ps4 was working fine for months after we replaced the cable). The “repair guy” told my mother in law that’s the reason why the hard drive was damaged. A couple weeks go by and I was expecting to get a call or something saying it was fixed or something. I called hard drive and asked for an update and the first thing he tell’s me is that he hasn’t even had a chance to look at the ps4. Then he proceeds to tell me that it’s not “downloading properly” after he just told me that he hasn’t even had a chance to look at it. Then he tells me that it’s caused by unnecessary roughness. I explained to him that I’ve had to tell my son multiple times to stop leaving it on for days on end and stop throwing stuff on top of it like blankets and stuff. The repair guy basically was saying that’s not the issue. After the conversation I decided to just pick up the ps4 cause his story changed twice. As an auto mechanic it just didn’t seem right he was telling me he diagnosed it but didn’t have time to look at it. That’s like me telling a customer their misfire is a spark plug without running any tests or anything. So I show up to pick up the PS4 and he charged me 50.00 for “looking at it” when he already told me that he hadn’t looked at it. I sent the PS4 off to Sony to have them look at it and come to find out that the fan was caked with dust and caused the hard drive to over heat. Pretty sure this guy told my mother in law what she wanted to hear just to make a quick buck. Would recommend people take their business elsewhere

A while back I had Norton scan my computer and they said I had a bad hard drive. I called Kitt and asked what it would cost for the drive and while he was at it double my memory , Kitt gave me a quote and since my machine was only 4 year old I told him I would bring it in. Came in Kitt said it would take a while I told him to check it out, I needed to run some errands. Came back Kitt said my HD was fine and all I needed was a disk and computer clean. I got my clean ups and my memory and saved one third of my original quote. Thanks Kitt

Some years ago we chose to closed down the section of our business that does computer repair so we could focus on Providing Internet. We have referred many customers to several repairmen. I've gone to Hard Drive a few times. Once was to repair a virus, once to clean up my computer and make it run more efficiently. Most recently, I
went to Kitt for advice on purchasing a new laptop. Kitt spent a lot of time working with me and explaining to me the newer features of computers. He helped me choose a computer that would work for me. Once I had purchased my new laptop, Kitt helped me set up my new computer and moved my files from the old laptop to the new one. Kitt has always been courteous and most helpful. His fees are reasonable and I have always been very satisfied with his work. I will continue to go to Hard Drive whenever I have computer problems. I would give Kitt more than 5 stars if I could.

Beware, I called this guy to help free up some disc space on my server.
He never even addressed that issue. Instead he convinced me I needed security for my data and sold me on some hardware installations. I paid him, upfront, (my mistake), over $3500.00. He crashed my whole network. Totally put me out of business. It took me two weeks to recover from his help. I have now asked for my money back and he has been completely unresponsive. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. I have since learned we are not the only business he has done this to.
