This city has a lot of dedicated professionals and good willed citizens. The commissioners and select staff, on the other hand, need ethics trainings and a 3rd party in-office mediation company to manage all the unprofessional and threatening behaviors that were already inexplicably performed on unwilling participants. The victimizers attempted to misdirect their misactions with unwarranted gaslight behaviors while building the toxic environment through petty adolescent behaviors against the victims for weeks after the assualt. During the Commission meeting Dec 6, 2022. Section F: Grievance Appeals; the public was given access to the report of two same-day instances of assault from 3 government employees onto 2 other government employees, during this time, the ignorance of management to effectively protect the victims was publicly displayed as the commission, city lawyer, and victimizers all denied that the event even took place. That is when video evidence was brought forth, and the commissioners opted not to view the video and dismiss any honest review of proof of the assault. The 2 victims quit and with courage, came back into those city hall walls for that commission meeting to make it publicly known that any steps taken to protect and prevent interoffice assault were not even considered and when the assaults were happening, the City Commissioners turned to denial. It's frightening to see that the city government could be so careless for the safety of its employees. Furthermore, the Commissioners behavior to claim ignorance after the facts are presented, reveal that although Alachua County Commission has not had authority over this city, a local authority is 100% needed to inspect and access the present Commissioners and city office staff.

Cute town but for passers by there are not any clean bathrooms. The city park and fishing dock used to have ok bathrooms but the city has not been keeping them up. 🙁
