We are a small machine shop that needed disposal of old oil based coolants, cutting fluids, and washer fluid. We had initially tried another company we had used in the past but could not get any response or any questions answered. We then tried Hazchem. We got timely answers to our questions, a firm quote, and when we were satisfied a timely pick up appointment. They came right to our door on time, the driver was friendly and professional taking care of the disposal very quickly and then going over all the paper work to make sure everything was clear and there were no questions. In the future we will definitely be calling Hazchem for all our disposal needs. Highly recommend.

As the Director of Safety and Operations for CXI Trucking in Melrose Park, IL. I was searching for a Hazardous Material Response Specialist for the OSHA "Hazwoper" company manual I was writing. I did a tremendous amount of research and I found of the 12 companies I reached out to that only Hazchem Environmental Corp. knew exactly what my needs were to be in case Emergency Response was needed at my Facility. To be exact, from the very first call to Al at Hazchem, I was given immediate professional responses with answers that made me want to do more due diligence on Hazchem. Hazchem Environmental is located near by my facility in Addison IL. and has 24/7/365 full Emergency services. After further discussion with Al, which I always received a immediate call back from, he spoke to the Vice President at Hazchem, Kate Koenig, and I received a packet in the mail within 2 days with all of their credentials, services and costs. There is no hidden costs and no money up front. I had there info packet looked over by the V.P. of CXI and back to Hazchem. Within in an hour of doing so I received the authorized signed contract back from Kate, that was signed by the President of Hazchem. I now can post Hazchem as the Emergency Response contact at our facility and use within my Hazwoper manual and rest at night know that Hazchem Environmental has me covered. I would not only highly recommend them but I would only recommend them to save any company wanting to save time for a full service Hazardous Materials Emergency response provider.

I have been using Hazchem for over 4 years between 2 different employers. I have been working with Kate Koenig during this time for haz and non-haz pick up. She has been excellent. Service is 100%. We use HazChem to pick up our Non-Hazardous waste. Maurice picked up our barrels with efficiency, professionalism, safety, and timely manner. Allan Mandell is our representative. We had an incident at our site and I called up HazChem. They came right out to assess the situation and quickly had a game plan on the cleanup. Cleanup went smooth with Scott Schwefel keeping me in the loop every step of the way. They also helped us maintain compliance with the required reporting for the appropriate agencies. I would definitely recommend HazChem for hazardous waste cleanup and disposal needs.

So easy to work with, Al had all the answers to my questions, it was just an overall good experience working with them and at reasonable prices.

They gave us an estimate on removing a tanker barrel from one of our job sites. After completion, the actual cost was far lower than their estimate. Couldn't be happier with their response time, professionalism and cost. Will definitely use them again if the need comes up.
