The dispatch people don’t care about the health and safety of the drivers. We are the ones that sacrifice so much. We are out in the elements while they are in a comfy office. Then when you ask for home time in weeks in advance they say that they cannot guarantee that you will be able to get home. They get to go home every night. When we are in our trucks all the time. They get to spend time with their families, but when we want to spend time with ours it seems hard to depend on them to get us home. Then when you have a problem with anything they will say that you are being childish. Is that how a company is suppose to treat and talk to their employees. Plus when you call after hour for the Washington office some of the after hour’s dispatch they just seem like they don’t want to help out any of the drivers. This is pretty sad. But with all that being said there are a couple of people there that are awesome like Roseanne and Shelly and Steve and last but not least my DM Kim.

Been with Heartland for almost 9yrs now. Lathrop yard is my turning point for fedex dedicated. Place is always clean. Very peaceful and safe place to rest your head. Crew and mechanic shop are there for your needs. Nice and they educate you on your truck.
