They are uncaring and stricly business I called and spoke to a employee names Jamie in Henry county informed them that I needed to make an arrangement to pay my bill 3 days later on the 24 instead on the 20th because I had a medical emergency my right lung collapsed and had a chest tube put in was admitted to the hospital and missed work. Jamie bluntly stated he couldn’t help me and when I asked why he jumped off the phone and said have a good day. Sad the times we live in when the water company can’t accommodate 3 days for someone undergoing a medical emergency. Henry county government is a joke and just want the money out of your pocket they have no sympathy for the citizens they work for.

Service cannot be established over the phone. To get water service established in collinsville, I needed a form showing my federal tax id#, a copy of the closing statement from the attorney showing I own the property, a credit reference from another utility company and I needed to get a form notarized Someone with some brain cells needs to review your policy to get water service established. Absolutely ridiculous!

PSA is a business so they are in business to make money. One posted psa doesn't help people who can't pay bill but there's not enough info in statement. WHY is there a problem? Do you budget money or are you "surprised" each month that you're getting a bill?
Do you know where your money goes?
I live on less then $800 a month. My house and car are paid off. I do not use credit cards. I save up for things I need and want to pay cash.
So, more details on situation is needed for sympathize.
Are you disabled? So am I.
Do you budget? I do
Do you eat out several times a week? I eat out maybe 2 times a month.
Do you drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes? I don't and since 1 of my issues is stage 3 kidney failure, I don't.
Check yourself before you totally blame someone else.
They not perfect but they not horrible either.
And as for chlorine in water, I live in Bassett and been few years since ice smelled heavy chlorine in water and when have has only been few days and if you let it run smell clears up
