They are charging me for a scratch on the car that was already there before I got the car. There was a small scratch on the passenger side door that they are calling a dent. Now I have to deal with customer service. The car had plenty of scratches prior to me getting this vehicle. I am a president circle member and will never rent from hertz again. This location and hertz was disappointing

I will never rent a car with them again. They gave my credit card information to a third party company so they would charge me for the toll I used my own iPass What bothered me was that they shared my credit card information which was unacceptable.

Needed to rent a car due to a collision. Thanks state farm! Rude staff members who told me one thing when I got the vehicle and another when I returned it about filling up the gas. Staff member raised his voice and called me "confused". I stayed calm and collected and simply recited the contract. His confused face and stern voice was motivating enough for me to never do business with Hertz ever again.

Came hete to this Hertz location to rent a vehical for my girlfriend due to her car having mechanical issues. There were 2 rental agents at the counter. The young male Indian agent proceeded to talk to us in a very hostile tone and continued to be very disrespectful and rude answering a few important questions that we had. I will never come to this location again. What ever happened to "customer service" Hertz ?, you need to train these millennials and pound customer respect into their thick skulls!!!

I booked a 3-day car rental through AAA's website, with a scheduled pickup at 10:30 a.m. When I arrived at the Hertz location at 11:30 the sole staff member was busy with another client but informed me that my car was still being cleaned. Upon receiving the car, I noticed damage to the driver's side door, which they assured me would be documented and nothing to worry about. Shortly after driving away, I detected a strong moldy odor inside the car. I called immediately and was told they would inspect the odor on site to return the car. When I returned, the replacement cars offered were priced above what I was originally paying, which would have been fine except the prices came out of thin air, off the top of his head while walking the parking lot. I did choose to upgrade to a Nissan SUV. When I looked inside, I was told it just needed to be cleaned since it was being used on-site. The driver's side seat was full of marijuana flower debris and it also smelled. I canceled my reservation and was charged for a full day without prior conversation or consult. The manager on site sat there while the male associate tried to help me. She knew there were problems going on the whole time and chose to ignore them. She would not give information about an area manager only promising that they would contact me.
Overall, I had a terrible experience with Hertz and AAA due to the poor condition of the cars and unhelpful staff.

Picked up a car here and initially the process was great the gentlemen was nice efficient and I was on my way. The condition of the car however was not great, it was not clean inside or outside.
Aside from that everything worked fine but upon returning we had to encounter a rude women at the desk. You can’t expect customers to adhere to a standard that you can’t keep yourself as a company/location. Because as mentioned they provided a dirty car. We returned it cleaner than they gave it to us and this women was rude and unprofessional. Please train your staff to be competent enough to offer customer service.

I am truly disappointed in my experience with this establishment. First I feel like there was no attempt to provide a decent customer service to me. I rented a car only because my car was getting serviced at a dealership nearby. I felt as if I was racially discriminated against by the Caucasian girl Carolina at the desk. I mentioned that when I rented the car. On the second day the tire was leaking air. I tried calling the destination and the phone services would not allow me to connect. So I went to discount tire to get air. I thought it was fine after adding air so I didn’t call again. Fast forward to Weds. June 20th I was driving the car to return it and it starting leaking air again. It went flat in transit. So I called Hertz AAA and they mentioned they would charge me an extra fee. So I called my own AAA and put a replacement tire so I wouldn’t damage the car. When I get there o tried to explain and let them know it’s been leaking air and I changed the tire to prevent damage. Carolina said you are responsible and we are charging you an extra day because you didn’t make it here by 2pm. I said how if it leaked air. I asked, “if I would have crashed because of the issue with your vehicle would it be my fault?” She said it wasn’t leaking when you got it. So is he said you have to pay for the damaged tire. I asked her to provide documentation that a leaking tire is considered a customer caused damaged. SHE COULD NOT despite calling multiple stakeholders. I asked for a manager she said call customer service. She wouldn’t give me a managers number. Then she finally had JENN NEEDHAM the market sales rep (greater Chicago area) gets on the phone and basically gives no help and provides an emotionally driven response. They then calls the police on me after she told me as a customer that “ you will pay for the car and you will remove your stuff from the vehicle and leave. “ I’m lucky the officers was extremely level headed from the Hoffman estate PD and I was cooperative or it could have been an extremely hostile situation. I could’ve been hurt or anything. Carolina never even looked at me like a human because I am black. Hopefully this post brings light to this location and no one is ever tested this way.

Malik and Jaelyn hooked me up big time with an upgraded rental to a 2022 Dodge Charger! when my previous rental a Toyota Corolla broke down with heating issues. These guys take customer service beyond. Great people and great service. Definitely recommend go to this location!
