Called left messages for warranty repairs, this is now the 2nd issue that we have had with this business. First was rain water leaking from the roof down into the enphase unit. Now I have not been able to produce electricity due to shady electrical work, (which I’m very fortunate did not cause a fire and a burnt down building) for a month now. Had SMUD come out to service their meeter which was the location of the problem. Only to find out that it was caused by negligence on the installation. We have called, left messages and can’t manage to get a response back.

When I first got my solar panels installed by HD Solar I gave them a 5 star rating. Everyone I worked with was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. No pushy sales. The whole install process went smoothly and their product is state-of-the-art.
However, after several years I am revising my review. A number of times I have had a problem. Once with a panel going out and having to be replaced and twice a micro inverter (?) having to be replaced. Their customer service is very very poor. It took numerous calls and several weeks to a month to get these problems addressed. Now waiting yet again to get a problem resolved.

Never call back or contact me back to fix the bad panels (production issue). Keep promises will let the manager know about my situation and has him contact me , but that never happened. Be careful and don’t sign any thing until you read all the agreement with this company.

I recently had an issue with my Enphase solar system where power generation unexpectedly stopped. I reached out to High Definition Solar, and they quickly came to the rescue. They diagnosed the problem swiftly, pinpointing the issue to the gateway in the Enphase combiner. Enphase sent a replacement gateway to our house, and High Definition Solar promptly installed it. Their charges were very reasonable, and the entire experience was seamless, from the prompt response to the professional installation. When we initially decided to go Solar back in 2020, High Definition Solar was very receptive with competitive pricing. From the start to finalizing the interconnection with PG&E the process was smooth. They took care of everything including panel upgrade and city inspection. Because of the good service we received in 2020, we decided to expand our panels again in 2023 for going green and again High Def Solar helped us a lot in making that happen smoothly. I would highly recommend them for any Solar installation needs

This company is awesome! From start to finish, my project was handled by true professionals who are experts at their craft and everything was installed to the exact specifications. The project handlers, installers and associated staff were incredibly responsive and receptive to all my needs and requests. They worked with me throughout the entire process and gave me excellent advice. They even handled cleanup and painting when they installed the new electric panel and solar panels (all on the same day and in a few hours). The end result is beautiful and I’m very impressed. We had 6 bids for a new roof after last years storms that were so out of reach it was a year before we could get satisfaction from our insurance company. And satisfaction we received. Luckily we found High Definition. The customer service is impeccable. They came in with a reasonable and thoughtful bid. And they worked out 0% financing for one year. They came quickly, handled the job competently, and came back quickly for the few touch ups I needed. The crew was extraordinary clean and the place look great at the end of this every day they worked. Now with these storms we are cozy and confident. It looks great! I look forward to working with them when I can move to solar!
