One of the prettiest town squares I have ever seen in this small town! Beautiful fountain, artwork, well manicured lawn and amphitheater are some cool highlights. Surrounded by quaint local businesses, this is a cool piece of Americana you should check out if you're in town.

Great spot. Lots of cute little shops and restaurants. The fountain is beautiful with the lights on. Sometimes people come and play music on the stage when is warm. They even host some festivals here, like the pbj fest! It's so much fun. It's magical during Christmas. They set up lights all around and put up little buildings with elfs inside. They also have an igloo full of penguins (not real), a nativity scene, and a little house to visit Santa in.

This is the most tranquil place I've been too. It is in the middle of town but yet so quiet and peaceful. They have lots of benches to just sit and enjoy the fountain and views. Plus it is close to all the cute stores

We went to hear my son play in the Highland Municipal Band recently. The square is beautiful, clean, and full of friendly faces, with quaint shops and a Schafly's right across the street. Definitely a taste of small town beauty.

Always so peaceful, the parks department keeps this area kept up nicely, aside from a few soda lids & small liter it's generally clean. Various benches to observe the fountain, numerous trees & 2 carved tree trunks. In the summers bands will play on the stage & each spring the city holds a PB& Jam festival every Friday. Free & open to the public. Always a good time.
I was surprised & disappointed that the first photo that popped up was someone in the fountain. It's not a bathing fountain, wading fountain nor is it a watering hole etc. It's purely to admire, colors of lights change depending on the season & in the winter the water is drained & lights are put in place. Nostalgic Christmas decorations are placed in late November as well, definately a must see!

The peanut butter and jam festival was awesome!!! Lots is people and few dogs. Anyone going in the next weeks and want some ice cream, get in line fast they sold out pretty quick.
