We were very pleased with the energy audit and subsequent work that Mohammed and his team did in our home. He was super responsive, kind, and professional. This included his clear and timely answers to my many questions, and his team dealing with an unexpected issue (on our end) the night before we'd scheduled a day of insulation and other work in our home. Our place feels noticeably better and our energy bills are clearly lower now. We highly recommend HESS.

I wholeheartedly recommend Home Energy Savings Solutions and Mohammed! This is the first time I’ve written a review for a company, and they truly deserve it. My house, built in the 1950s, lacked insulation and had many gaps, causing the furnace to run constantly in the winter and the AC to run non-stop during the summer. Mohammed came to our home to conduct an energy audit, and I followed up by adding insulation to the attic, sealing gaps, and encapsulating the crawl space. As of January 2025, my heating bill dropped by nearly $80 for December. I also received an energy report from Washington Gas showing that my gas usage is 25% lower than that of efficient homes (it used to be 50% higher). Mohammed was always available to answer questions and quick to respond. Plus, we took advantage of several Maryland rebates, which Mohammed handled seamlessly. Thank you again!

We highly recommend Home Energy Savings Solutions and Mohammed! Mohammed initially came to our house and performed an energy audit. We then followed up with having insulation added to our attic, crawl spaces, and between our first and second floors. Mohammed was always available to answer questions, he was quick to respond, and he was thorough. The team that showed up to conduct the insulation work were right on time, friendly, and very professional and caring of our home. All work was completed in one day, as promised. We are pleased with our interaction with HESS and the work they performed. We also were able to take advantage of numerous Maryland rebates, which HESS handled for us. Thank you HESS and Mohammed!!

I am so happy we did this project. We bought our home 1.5 years ago, and the summer upstairs last year was unbearable. We knew we needed to do something, but weren't sure where to start. Someone suggested to get an energy audit done. Home Energy Solutions came out, conducted the audit, and provided us with a plan of improving the comfort in our home, while saving on energy costs. The team came out yesterday and were very professional and courteous. They did all kinds of work in our attic that had insufficient insulation as well as an air duct that vented into the attic. Kind of scary that we were breathing in attic air. The work was completed in about 6 hours and they cleaned up after themselves. We noticed an immediate improvement. The temperature upstairs has dropped and we are now comfortable. I cannot recommend Mohammed and his team enough!

Mohammed taught me a lot about my old house during the energy review. He also discovered there was old vermiculite asbestos insulation in my attic (that had not been noticed in my earlier inspection). His crew later on insulated our attic and did an excellent job. Would def. recommend.
