I appreciate having a place like the landfill. Staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciate that some items are being recycled. I had two questions. The mountains were out and I stopped to take a photo from the dump and I was stopped by one of the workers who said "no photography on the premises!" So I didn't take a picture but didn't know why such a rule existed.
I noted that there is no salvaging up at the landfill anymore. People throw a lot of good lumber and if someone else can use it it seems that they should be able to salvage it. Before the rule was established I was able to get several pallets for use around my buildings, got several good windows which I installed in a cabin, etc.

It's very clean and easy to work with but the hours on the site need to be updated. I find they are often not open when it says they are so I end up loading the truck and driving to the dump only to have to come back home and try again during one of my lunch breaks during the week
