I resided at one of the properties for 9.5 years. During my residency, I had very minimal complaints - that's why I lived there for so long. Once I moved out is when the real problems started. I received a bill for all kinds of charges. CA law states this bill must deliver within 21 days of move out and with receipts - the bill came after the 21 days and with no receipts. I contacted the main office and was finally able to get those charges waived and receive my security deposit back. Now, I'm requesting a refund on rent because I paid a full month's rent, however, I moved out before month's end. The communication has been incredibly poor. The supervisor never emails me back unless I call beforehand and when she does manage to email me back, she has no finalized solutions or is confused on what I am requesting. They are definitely intentionally delaying the process, in hopes I will give up so they don't have to refund me.

I believe this company operates unethically and does everything they can do to keep your deposit or collect additional money. Please educate yourself on state laws and hold this company accountable.

This company discriminates! I make $1000 every two weeks and I meet the 2.5 rental requirement and was not approved even before my credit was ran. When I called the corporate office for an explanation the incompetent women who answered could not give me a clear reason nor could the property managers. My understanding is because i'm a young woman and possibly due to my ethnicity. Mind you the apartment was less than $900 a month and I have good credit. I will definitely file a complaint to the department of fair housing.

Hunt Enterprises needs to be sued. The are totally exploiting tenants by taking their security deposit and misquoting the law. They make illegal deductions from your security deposit so that they can avoid paying for ordinary wear and tear. A class action suit is indeed needed. There are many people out there who do not know their rights. This company should be shut down, what they are doing is flat out WRONG!!!!!

It is sad to hear how this company even fails to give people back their security deposit or notify them of the deductions made within 21 days as is required by law. Their failure to do so within the 21 day period is grounds for return of the full security deposit, which would likely required a suit to enforce. Horrible company!!! NEVER rent from them!!! They not nice people and don’t care about you when you rent from them. I hope they go under VERY soon!!! They lie and never follow through with anything! They keep your security deposit and never show you receipts for anything even though they tell you they’ll give them to you. Lies!!! I’ve heard a lot of info from insiders with the company and they’re not good people at all!!!

When will we be ever feel protected. It is but proper for the company to fix the CCTVs within the complex. I have been a victim and I feel helpless since the managers would always say that the CCTVS are not working,,, and if it does, its only mean to protect the property itself,,,not the properties of the tenants..

the worst apartment management company. so cheap, infested with roaches, mold, crazy people that are violent, leaks, floods and to top it all off you can’t even smoke a j to relieve you from the stress of living in such a fncked up place.
this place gave me asthma from all the allergens (the roaches, the mold, and living right off a main street)

Worst Rental Company on Earth! Does Not Refund Security Deposit and Does Not Respond to Customer Concerns. Filed a Complaint with BBB for the same and awaiting response. Please avoid Renting from their Apartment in South Bay(Casa, Durango etc.). Disgusting Company.
