From the very start of the process, Iconic Energy was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Everything from not being pushy with sales to permitting, SREC's and installation.
Being only a few weeks after install, the wife and I are impressed with how the system is producing energy and how smooth the entire process was. It was great to work with a local "815" company! I'm happy to recommend Iconic Energy to others!

Solar panels are saving me money from the start. They are even producing electricity when there is snow on them. Iconic had a better price than most but the best thing is that they cared about doing a good job. Their workers damaged my deck but had it fixed. Be sure and ask about the options for the inverter. I was surprised when I did not get the best one.

We started our solar experience due to a visit from Sun Run in the neighborhood. We knew we wanted to get involved in solar due to ever increasing energy costs, and that was the motivation we needed. While it would have saved us some money over the length of their lease, it just didn't seem like the right option for us. A good friend recommended Iconic and so we made sure they were in our short list when we got quotes.

There are a lot of steps involved, lots of potentials for unavoidable and unpredictable delays and little speed bumps, but I feel Iconic did a great job at navigating everything and answering our questions along the way. They always responded quickly and cheerfully to any inquiry.

We were able to get the system turned on in a relatively short time in comparison to what the worst case would be, and were very satisfied that when we received our first monthly electric bill after the install was complete, we had completely covered our bill amount and only owned basically the $16 customer fee. While winter production will be less, this bodes VERY WELL for next year.

I did a lot of research on solar panels before pulling the trigger. I had a total of 4 estimates, no one was close to Iconic, one company was charging me 2 times what Iconic was charging me. The panels and the inverter are good quality brands. They did a very clean job. They kept me informed. They rescheduled twice due to weather but thats to expect, can be on a slippery roof working. So far so good. Our bill dropped to 16 dollars. I recommended them to couple other people and they were happy with them.

This year I had my roof replaced. The roofing company hired an electrician to remove and reinstall the solar system, but that electrician didn't do it correctly. Iconic came out and I OFFERED TO PAY Iconic to reinstall the system correctly. Iconic told me they would not reinstall the system, voided my warranty and told me they will no longer monitor my system.

I believe they handled this situation unprofessionally and were a bit punitive. I would not recommend them, nor will I do business with them again.
