We hired Imperial Solar to install 42 solar panels on our roof in Woodland Hills. They gave us a very competitive price, which made it easy to move forward with them. We wanted to hire a local company and they do all their own install work, not sub it out like a lot of the larger companies do. Brian was very responsive and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and did a great job explaining all of the options to us. They handled everything from our electrical panel upgrade, to the design and installation of the solar panels, as well as the permits and inspections. Everything went as smoothly as it could and it was an absolute pleasure working with them.

Comparing quotes and specs, the project manager matched my best offer and provided me with detailed information about various options. From the planning stage all the way to the installation and inspection stages, everyone in the Imperial solar was very professional and outstanding. We had a relatively standard job, so permitting etc. with LADWP went quick and smooth - all handled by Imperial. From quote to power up took about 3 months. Installation was done in one day. Imperial's install team (not sub-contracted) were friendly, and did an outstanding job. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had been considering having solar installed at our home for years now. We probably should have pulled the trigger a lot earlier, but it's always just been such a daunting task to get the ball rolling. There are so many companies and so many options. It's a fairly new concept (if you're comparing to electric), so knowing the right questions to ask and doing the research was overwhelming to say the least. When we were regularly getting electric bills from LADWP for $900+ per billing cycle, we finally had had enough and started calling around. I spoke with two other solar companies, received quotes, and just as I was about to sign up I decided to research the companies a little bit more and see what people were saying about them. I'm glad I did because I almost signed up with a company that had SUCH poor customer experiences. I decided to look around more and found Imperial. I decided to call and ask some questions and the interaction ended up being so different from the previous two. The design team was so incredibly patient, so kind, very clear and informative, and not pushy at all. They were more than happy to give me a little bit of time to make my decision, and spent a few phone calls making sure I had no questions left before I signed the contract. I expected the entire process to take a few months, but I was so pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything was.

We're still waiting to see how much of a difference the panels make as we haven't closed on a billing cycle yet. It is winter and the days are shorter, so I don't really expect to see the full effects of the panels until daylight savings is over. But as far as the experience, it's probably one of the best interactions and experiences I've had with any installation or work done on our house.

One of the most important things in finding an electrical contractor or a home improvement company is finding one that is honest and know what they are doing. Imperial Solar was the only company that was courteous enough to follow up with us numerous time and provided us with tons of detailed information about our purchase and system before signing the contract.

We are very pleased with the remarkable customer service and attention to detail they placed on our project. I myself am a very meticulous person and hard to please. But Imperial Solar candidly was the only company that we felt comfortable doing business with.

They have been nothing less than amazing and my project was completed without any hindrance in just a matter of two and a half months. Imperial Solar is a one-stop energy shopping company. Not only Imperial Solar installed my solar but they also installed my battery back AND our EV charger! ALL IN TWO DAY!!! Granted we still have to wait for the tedious city and utility inspection but the actual installation took less than we thought which was very impressive.

I was replacing the 22 years old roof on my single family house and figured it is the perfect time to install solar as well. I had been looking to install solar, but naturally I was concerned about the condition of my roof. But since I was re-doing the roof my concern was eliminated. I got a few bids from several solar companies and Imperial Solar’s bid immediately stood out; their price was very competitive and more importantly their approach was to provide comprehensive and informative explanations of all of my options (the mechanics of going solar, pros and cons of particular panels, even whether it was advisable to go solar at all) in a conversation that was extremely educational and amazingly devoid of sales pressure.

At this point I was sold. Once I decided to use Imperial Solar and signed the purchase contract, the project proceeded seamlessly. Imperial Solar scheduled the work, coordinated everything with my roofer and kept me informed of every step in the project via emails.

The entire team at this company is amazing. From the office staff to the crew who were installing the system. They showed up on time, and cleaned up scrupulously after and were very well mannered and professional. During the installation process they were considerate of us, of our neighbors and the rest of the sub-contractors who were on the site working. These guys are nothing short of excellence!
