We stayed in the inn's Oak Creek Suite, a two-story unit that felt like a whole condo. It was clean and comfortable, even if the decorating wasn't our style. Our favorite part was lounging on the two quiet balconies overlooking the creek. It was also convenient to have a full-size fridge and even a washer and dryer in the suite (although the washer was finicky -- we only got it to work on delicate cycle).||The staff were super friendly both at check-in and when we had questions during our stay.||The location is hard to beat: it's a quick walk to shops and restaurants at Tlaquepaque, and we took a short drive to the Broken Arrow Trailhead that led to a beautiful hike.

Staying here is like staying with a nice, friendly relative with all the amenities. Great little balconies with good views. Friendly and hospitable hosts. Free coffee, a full kitchen and fridge. They even said I could just get a bowl of cereal if I wanted at any time. My wife and I loved staying here. It was clean and very clean when it came to all important things.

Is this the most modern place to stay no. Is it comfortable and full of character? Yes. Our room had a fireplace that was warm, and there were wine glasses for use in our room. It's a sedona gem for sure.

Well, this was a one night stay tacked onto a trip I already planned. I wanted to get to Sedona for more days and I am SO GLAD I picked here! It’s more like staying in an inviting home than a hotel. The place is so charming, the rooms adorable with cute balconies and a whirlpool tub. The biggest thing though was the staff! Rick was friendly checking me in. And, it was SNOWING. My original plan was for my best friend to come with me and my 9 month old but due to weather she was unable. Donna was the most amazing! She was so good with Ireland and really made us feel at home. The hospitality is top notch. She even gave me a bottle of wine when she found out it was my birthday weekend and my friend couldn’t make it. We will be back!

This is now one of our favorite hotels. The inn could probably be classified as a bed and breakfast. Walking distant to many restaurants and shops. We were checked in by Rich, who goes above and beyond his job. He is kind and very friendly. Rich also helped us with our luggage as well as recommended places to eat dinner. Note there is no elevator if your room is on the second floor. Gorgeous and peaceful grounds by the creek. Our room 7 was perfect for us. Small balcony with no creek views but really peaceful. We could barely hear the cars on the road. Great place! We will be back!

Absolutely loved staying here! Close enough to restaurants and shops but secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Comfy beds and the room we had was a jacuzzi tub. Complementary tea, coffee, Cocoa with a small continental breakfast. Beautiful views of the creek which you can swim in if you so choose. Loved every part of our stay!

First, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was lots of natural light. There is a parking lot, so parking was easy. We stayed on the second floor. There is no elevator, so we did have to drag our luggage up the stairs. No one offered to help with luggage except when we were departing, but at that point, we had brought everything downstairs. Our room did not have a balcony, but there is a nice sized balcony off the downstairs lobby with several tables and chairs that is available to all who stay there. We sat outside several times during our stay as the weather was great. We skipped the breakfast at the inn and drove to Sedonuts which is wonderful. It was an average hotel breakfast offering with muffins and bagels and coffee. We liked that there were a number of restaurants for dinner within walking distance. Some of the restaurant parking lots are small, so walking was the best option. The one big downside to this hotel was the toilet and shower. I am not sure why hotels put in low toilets. I have bad knees and trying to lower myself on a toilet near the floor is difficult. The bathroom had a jetted tub, and trying to climb in to take a shower was not easy. I liked the location of the inn, and it was very quiet. I would stay again when visiting Sedona.

Overall, we felt at $400+ per night, the Inn felt short on our expectations. It was definitely not an upscale experience if that’s something you’re looking for.||Positives:|- The person who helped us check in was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful|- Location was great - walking distance to restaurants and shopping; 5 min driving from Uptown|- Room was very clean and quiet|- Bedding was comfortable and we slept well||That said, we thought all the above could have been achieved by a hotel with half the price. And here are where they did not deliver:|- The room was dated and needed a major renovation. Although I had seen the pictures, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and falsely hoped that the pictures were not doing justice given the glowing reviews from many other guests. In reality, the room’s conditions were close to, if not below, the pictures.|- Poorly designed bathroom. We stayed in Room 5 and although I had known the sink would be outside the bathroom, the bathtub almost occupied the entire space in the bathroom and the toilet was almost right on top of it (as a result, the towels were placed right next to the toilet — this is bad hygiene practice). Maybe put in a shower with a smaller footprint?|- Checkout was 11 and we were not planning to leave town until the pm, and asked the person checking us out if we could leave our luggage there. The person seemed very surprised by the question and made me feel as if it was a big imposition on them. I thought it should have been a fairly common question from guests and I did not appreciate the way they reacted to such a simple request.|- Lastly, we had known the Inn did not provide hot breakfast, but with a full kitchen in the center of the first floor, it really should have been something they thought about. The continental breakfast was not consistent with the price tag.

We chose this hotel because it’s not part of a chain and seemed quieter in a better setting than others and it was a good decision. We stayed in room 1 which overlooks the creek, very convenient for luggage as we had a lot but balcony is adjacent to communal balcony which was quite well used when we were there.|Breakfast arrangements are good, with plentiful supplies including fruit and very nice raisin and bran muffins.|Easy parking and possible to walk into the town in the evening which is a bonus.
