We bring baled cardboard and load frequently at this location for the past 2 years. Loading/ unloading times vary based on the day.
My real issue is that in the past month they damaged two trailers and the attitude from the employees is nasty, from the forklift operator to the scale house personal. They all teamed up against the driver and find million excuses not to take responsibility They will kick you out of the property, and refuse to take it up to the safety management. We called local police for report and they can’t do anything about it, since it’s a private property.
We are about to file at the small claim cort.
Bottom line is, if you are coming here pray they don’t damage your equipment.

Few unnecessary check in and check out steps. After unloading left a mess inside the trailer. If there are 2-4 trucks you will unload fast.

My issue is with the gate 6 set up. People were generally nice, plexiglass sheet on window is the start of 99% of all shipper / receiver / driver arguments. Assume we have never been here before and the plexiglass just makes it so hard to ask questions and follow instructions. Most of us as drivers don't want to waste your time or ours, when we have to use a crystal ball to figure out what the SOP is it's not win win

Speaking only to the Gate 6 entrance. I've been here several times. They are very nice but the frustration is that they are slower than molasses. There's no sense of urgency to get us checked in and out in a timely manner. They're always yakking and carrying on inside and wasting driver's time. They ignore you at the window until they're good and ready to do their job. Stood there today and finally had to interrupt there talking to get my bills and get on the road. At check-in there was 5 trucks or more backed up because they're not in any hurry. I've been to the other mills and they're run professional and quick, none of this messing around. Just clueless and don't give a rip about our time. Rude.

If you have used cardboard, go to gate 6. They are very nice at the gate. There was a bunch of confusion with my load(wrong gate pass) but they were able to email on the spot. In and out in 2 hours.

First of all dont come to this place because this route is gonna take all your work hours. Second if you have to come the entrance is at 6 for bailed material. Then you have to go for check in, then waiting area then scale check in and then you gonna park on dock. Please ignore the rude behavior of fork lift driver and dont open the doors until asked to do it. Good luck.
