We pay high bills every month and they have been cutting trees to keep this from happening in a ice storm but the kids and us been without power from 8 am and it's 4 pm with no sign of a crew and I bet when the bill is due a truck will roll by to cut off the supply of power jpc sucks!!!!!!!!! And maybe the service needs to go under ground to keep this from happening then no trees will fall on the lines

I can hardly recall ever having a power outage,we didn't even loose power during the ice storm except for 30 mins to reconnect others...yet now that they put that power pole from well you know we loose power at least once or twice on an average of every month...

My father passed away. We put his account in auto draft to pull from my checking account to pay the bill. I live 3 hours away and when I was finally able to get back to town to take care of things they had turned off the electricity 2.5 weeks prior. We lost a deep freeze full of meat and the kitchen fridge and feeezer is full of maggots. I would think if someone took the time to set up auto pay they wouldn’t want the power abruptly shut off!!! Very upsetting and a major problem I’ll have to figure out how to take care of on top of everything else. Oh and to add yes auto pay is working and the last bill is set to be withdrawn on 10/18/24.

Very rude on the phone ! Even worse they are trying to bill me for an account I never held eight years before I moved to this state or entered into any agreement and an additional 6 years after I had opened my own account because my spouse owed it while single eight years before we met!!
They discriminate against married people by attaching debt to a spouse who never existed when the bill was generated

If 0 stars was an options that's what it'd be. My electric bill is $1600. This is 2.5 times more than my already higher than average bills. Absolutely impossible. New windows, insulation, doors, and central heat/ac unit within the last year to help with efficiency. New appliances throughout the house. 4 people 2 of which kids under 3. It makes absolutely no sense. No help when you call to ask someone to check the meter. I guess my next step is to find an attorney to see if they can get someone to check the meter. 100% when we build our forever home this year it's location is going to be determined by where jpec is not providing services.

My electric bill went up triple using same things I always have. Don’t like company like I use to the people inside are very rude.I remember when company stood for people owned.Well we didn’t agree to pay for the new building. But this seems to everywhere now days where the customers are never right and can be talked down too with No fault on there end.I use to rave about are power company but it’s dropped way down on pole for me so sad.I do appreciate the power workers that do have to get out and do the work but about it.I’ve read other reviews and can’t believe how bad it’s gotten.

Claimed they never received my online payment. Shut my power off. Charged me $800 to turn in back on. I haven't missed a payment in the 15 years I've been a customer, ever. They claimed they tried to contact me to make my payment but I never received a phone call or anything from them. They're liars and just looking to collect extra charges and fees because they know they can and they know there's nothing you can do about it.

Place is a joke. I just purchased a home and they would not waive the $300 deposit because of my credit score. I have a score in the upper 700's so I'm not sure how that is possible. When I asked if it could be explained to me the representative I was talking to was extremely rude and refused to give me any information.
