I enjoy the food and the excellent customer service. I visit this establishment maybe a couple of times a month, and I'm never disappointed every time I go. I always ask for several "D" and "Dee" because his hospitality skills are amazing. The food is great, never had a complaint. My go-to dinner is the catfish, oxtails, or the all-white dinner. The only downside of patronizing this establishment is the lack of parking. I wish they offered their patrons a valet or parking lot. Until next time.

Be cautious of this establishment! The first red flag was when my server, FATIMA, placed a credit card device in front of me during my dinner, urging me to pay my $87.32 tab immediately. When I asked about the possibility of paying later, she informed me that due to her shift change, I had to pay upfront. I paid with my card and gave her a $10 cash tip.

The second red flag appeared AFTER DINNER, when my server returned with the receipt for me to sign. I discovered that my receipt had a $13.20 service fee, which wasn’t reflected on the credit card machine. When I questioned this, she tried to convince me that the fee was there, but I pointed out that there were customer complaints on the website about this issue, and I wouldn’t have tipped if it was listed. She walked away to investigate and returned with an apology, claiming that the machine malfunctioned.

Despite her explanation, I signed the receipt, and my guest and I left the restaurant. Two days later, my credit card company notified me that I had been charged $97.32. 😳🤯🤬

Below are pictures for your review. While the food and the atmosphere were generally good, I’m undecided as to whether I’ll ever return to this establishment. Customers, be cautious of the shenanigans that seem to accompany this black-owned restaurant!

I ordered wing dinner. The wings were burned. I had the red beans and rice. I ate the rice then I told him that the wing were burn. They told me they could not do anything about the burned wings. It’s a shame that this restaurant continues turning food not fit to be consumed and we still patronize them. This will be my last time.

Food is amazing but the service is the slowest I’ve ever experienced in the city. MINIMAL time needed for a pickup order is 1hr+. When you show up to get your food they are ALWAYS out of something so takes longer to sub it. They do not call ahead of time to let you know, you just show up to the surprise of having to wait longer.

This has consistently been the case the last 3 times I’ve been here. Last time I spent my entire lunch hour waiting to get my food after I placed it online 30 mins prior to showing up. Laughably bad.

Only good part of this experience was my food, I genuinely think our waiter hated us. I was there roughly around an hour half possibly two hours and I only saw him once or twice. He didn’t offer us water , he didn’t take our order right away. Food came after an hour…. And he still couldn’t make it to the table lol I’m so tired of coming in establishments where the employees don’t wanna work or even be there. Please do better with hiring and overall do better with service. $15 service charge and the employees suck and the service. If anything I would want my $15 back. I will not be back , I wouldn’t even recommend this place to an enemy. Horrible experience and horrible restaurant.

Bianca was an excellent server and she managed to provide our food in a timely manner! Despite her being the only server serving many people, she gets the job done and deserves a raise!!

I ordered to go a jerk oxtail dinner with rice and beans macaroni and a side of sweet potatoes they gave me 1 big oxtail and 3 extra small ones the rice was undercooked and the macaroni was watery this was horrible fir $48

Great looking place and great vibes! Staff were slow but very kind & polite, food looked great but the fish was raw..after I paid some kind employee did ask if she could remake it but we had somewhere else to be.
