The team at JHP was fantastic and executed my solar installation with care and precision. The look, fit and finish of the equipment is flawless and I feel bad for my neighbors who's installations are visibly shoddy.
I can tell you this as well, Joe and his team went far above and beyond in helping me and my family. It just so happened that the very day before we were to meet and sign the agreement, my breaker panel fried and we were without power. They sprung to action for us and had a new panel installed 2 days later. Then they helped me follow up with PGE to get power restored and get us back into our home. Had we gone with one of the bigger solar companies, I honestly believe we would have been displaced much much longer waiting to get scheduled etc... Dealing with PGE is always a headache (at least that has been my experience). But with JHP's help we got our PTO and are generating power and saving $$$. We could not be happier. Please support small business and work with these guys who you can trust to provide a JOB WELL DONE !!

Joe and his crew are amazing. I had a sizable job installing a new main panel, sub panel and wiring an addition. These guys hit it out of the park. It's always hard for me to hire out work since I worked in the trades for many years and have the knowledge and skills to do most electrical work on my own however an injury has made that impossible. I always feel that the job done by the contractor is never done to my high standards. But JHP knocked it out. Great guys! Awesome Work! Super happy hire them.

Joe and his team were incredible. Our house was made in 1967 and needed a new panel upgrade from a Zinsco panel that was outdated and out of code.

Before we were connected to JHP, my husband and I looked for quotes from the 'big' companies and received quotes that were up to $10,000 +. The project seemed unimaginable to us with a tight budget. A friend of mine recommended me to JHP Electric through mutual acquaintances. We were impressed with the communication and feedback right out of the gate and a much more reasonable quote as well.

The team moved swiftly and kept constant communication with project details and timelines. Our electricity project began mid-October and just wrapped up towards the first week of December. We were out of power for a total of 7 days, but Joe was able to incorporate a temporary solution until the full panel upgrade took place. I could go on and on, but what I want to highlight is JHP utilizes local and small businesses to complete the job and I'll select small businesses over corporate services any day after our experience with JHP. Couldn't recommend them enough and looking forward to having them come back when we need electricity in our backyard shed. THANK YOU!

Just Helping People is what I want to say this company is all about. I can't say enough positive things about JHP Electric and how helpful they were with the whole experience.

From the beginning of working with Matt, their salesperson, to the install team which consisted of David, Mark and the crew, to the after installation follow up from Joe, the owner, it was all a great experience.

I'm a very critical Type-A personality, and my wife is very surprised as these guys passed my test of top-notch customer service. They were very competitive with their quote. We had nailed it down to three companies in which we wanted to work with (I had a spreadsheet with 7 companies from Tesla, SunPower, Sunrun, Solar Optimum, DroneQuote, etc. and 21 different quotes of different configurations, solar panel brand, inverters being used, price per watt, YELP reviews, etc. - I told you I have a Type-A personality), and they came in higher than the other two local company quotes and we were super okay with that based upon the results they provided.

Matt was very responsive whenever I had a question. He answered all of my questions either by a phone call or text. I never felt pressured. Another thing is he never made me feel dumb about the questions that I asked or spoke bad about any other company even when I gave him the name of a local competitor that was in the top three of the companies we were looking to go with (another local company said some negative things which left a sour taste in my mouth).

The install crew was amazing. They did such a wonderful job and a super clean job with the installation. I'm a perfectionist and take my time in everything, whether it be washing my car from using a spray foam, clay barring, polishing and waxing, to even making sure my cable management for my PC is nice and tidy with zip ties. (Did I mention that I'm a Type-A personality? LOL!) Their install of the system did not have conduit running all through the top of the roof of our house or even the side of the house. They even found some cracked roof tiles that were nowhere near the installation of the panels and replaced all of them. They also painted one of the roof vents as they saw that some paint came off of it. This was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated.

The communication with the owner, Joe, was great. He called me to inform me that he submitted the permit, when the permit was approved, when they would come and install, when inspection would take place, and when PTO was provided.

The last thing is they were very fast with everything. I read on Reddit all of these stories about installs from Tesla, Sunrun or even SunPower taking months for an installation to occur. We signed the contract on September 30; Joe called me October 13 to inform me the permit was approved; Install took place on October 18; Inspection from the city took place October 20; and PTO from PG&E took place October 26. It took less than one month from contract signing to PTO. If that isn't fast, efficient, and excellent customer service, then I don't know what is.

Also, I know that JHP Electric is a new company and hasn't been around like a lot of other companies out there. But based upon their excellent customer service they provided, don't let the fact that there aren't many reviews about them deter you from using them to do your solar installation. We gave them a chance and believed in them, and they came through.

Thank you Matt, David, Mark, Joe and the team! We truly appreciate you guys.
