Have you checked out the newly remodeled library in Joliet? Very nice. Special shout out to them for continuing the Star Wars day event. It was greatly appreciated after the pandemic.

We finished our breakfast at the Joliet route 66 diner and decided to check out the library across the street. It's 915am and had 45 mins to kill. We headed straight to the children's area and the librarian was very helpful. She told us that there's storyline at 945a if we were still around.

The children's area is divided into 3 sections; a classroom and 2 areas for younger children and older children respectively. One of the areas has a wooden red fire engine truck for younger kids to lounge around or read a book!

My daughter enjoyed the classroom to play with puzzles and magnetic board. She freely let her creativity loose there since it's shielded with windows (door has to remain open for safety reasons of course!) Then I read a few books to her before we left. Typical time at any library, just different options for us to do.

I come here with my son. It's a good place overall, cute little upstairs, kiddy book and play area. Just a few homeless people are there occasionally. There are a few rude or loud people on their phones, but im from chicago, so thats kinda normal in the library, i guess, but the staff normally alerts security if it's an issue. But yeah, i enjoy my times coming and checking out books. Epecally the MOVIES! No Negative Concerns.

The library overall is very good but the librarians are so mean for no reason they have a boring job but there is no reason to be mean,also when it's time to go they be shouting at you for no reason me and my friend were just waiting for our ride,oh also they are racist for no reason.

This place has a wide selection of books, movies, and video games. It has a studio in which one can make record music or make videos. I love this library.
