I was in Sam's Club and was given the sales pitch about how Just Energy will save me money against my ComEd bill. I was shown documents lending credibility to their claims, and having worked as a vendor with Sam's Club before, I know they're pretty stringent about who they let in to sell things. I admittedly took it for granted and trusted them.

Well, my ComEd bill practically doubled. The first month, I thought it was a fluke. Then I saw an agent at Sam's again and was told that I can cancel at any time. Except that hasn't happened. I've called several times and I'm told someone will call back. Now I have called for the last time. If I don't get a call back, I'm going to start filing complaints with the FTC and other agencies.

You all are a scam.

Sales representative misinformed me as a worker from consumer protection trying to see if I am still covered under what she termed as "customer price protection" or something like that. She even showed me 2 IDs authorizing her to check on my gas and electricity bills. Her story was not adding up and when I rushed upstairs to check online about the company (I read the company name from her cap), I saw these earlier reviews and opted out. Thank you for posting. DO NOT SIGN UP with them.

I briefly worked for them when I got laid off my job. Fortunately I have a conscience and could not do this for long. Most of the sales people do not care if they're ripping people off. They get paid by commission only. The team leader was a drug addict and was often passed out in the vehicle while everybody else was working. It's a pyramid scheme as well. The higher ups get paid a percentage of what the people beneath them make. They still owe me a reconciliation check which I know I'll never see. For a couple years just energy sent me a bill for over a $100. I never paid it and it stopped coming in the mail. I checked my credit report and it is not on there.

How do I make my review 0 stars instead of 1 star? I switched to just horrible energy last year. Before the end of the year my bill SOARED from $1,100.00 by January. CRIMINAL PREDATORY PRACTICE. Negative stars?

The representative of this company arrived at my door after dark, which was quite alarming. He used misleading sales practices and pushy sales tactics to convince me, even though I expressed obvious skepticism, reluctance, and a desire for him to leave. Now I am in a mess with an "early termination" fee, which the sales representative assured me would not be a problem when I told him my lease at that address would be terminating in less than a year. No matter how good the sales representative makes their service sound, do not under any circumstances agree to sign up. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I have never requested, was not interested in and did not subscribe to any of the services of the company Just Energy. A few months ago, they began bothering me with calls from the Just Energy "Collections department" demanding to pay an overdue gas bill. I have no idea what is Just Energy, never agreed to any gas purchases from these scammers. My People Gas account is always paid on time, without any delay, and I do not have any debts for any utilities, neither gas nor electricity. I refuse to pay Just Energy scammers and demand to remove all my information from their databases.

I gave them a 3 because the 2 young guys who came to my door were enthusiastic and friendly. They did a great sales pitch, and we're fun to talk to, very funny team. But I don't sign up for something with out researching it first. They had no information to haND out, and told me I could cancel AFTER I signed up had 10 days to do the research....Ummm no. Sadly for them despite their great pitch, Erik Allen Badge #704326 no sale. I see the company checks these reviews. I suggest you have materials to leave with customers to review, your tactic is too aggressive and comes off as shady. Give Allen and the guy training him a raise, the were great.

Horrible experience! And must be compensated! They do not have your best interest! There prices are high and should be criminal! You will end up paying more for your month utility bill! You will not save any money! They will literally rob your for hundreds a month , Just Enery needs to be shut down! It’s criminal what they are doing to people!
