I'm grateful we went with K5 Landscaping for our backyard remodel. Isaiah was communicative and his team knowledgeable. I had another landscape professional come out for a bid, and it was clear pretty quickly that Isaiah understood my vision for the backyard so much better than the other person. He listened, offered his professional advice... and it came out great! Isaiah was also understanding of our budget for the project. He worked with us to accomplish our priorities, without pressure to over-extend what we wanted to invest in the project.
I'll def use K5 again for our next landscaping project(s)!

Outstanding. My Coronado home needed major work in both the front and back yards- thank goodness I hired K5 Landscaping. Isaiah and Daniel understood my vision and created the beautiful yards I always wanted. They communicated frequently, took photos at every stage, and made sure any decisions, no matter how small, were fielded to me. I did not stress at all because they and their crew are highly skilled and knowledgeable. They have a strong sense of aesthetics and I relied on their guidance. 5 has upgraded our deck and outside walkway. The quality of the work is amazing. Isiah and his team certainly go above and beyond to provide exceptional quality, down to the last detail. We live in an older home. so as the progress progressed it became obvious that the scope of what was needed would need to expand. Isiah was so helpful in finding solutions and making suggestions that we never would have considered. He worked on our house with the same care that he would have used on his own house. The changes to the project were expensive, but i always felt like Isiah was very careful with our money and went out of his way to save us money when he could.

Although Isaiah was super friendly at first when he came out for the quote, I asked him if he could seal the decomposed granite with a stabilizer spray, but he insisted that if it was compacted right, there would be no need. As you can see by the pictures, that is not true.

I then asked him if he could come back and fix it. At least refill and patch in the holes. He emailed back and we set a date and time, but HE NEVER SHOWED UP. Then I emailed him back to see maybe we can reschedule, but he stopped replying to me and that was that. My backyard still looks like this and is getting worse every time it rains....It now is back to what it looked like before... a WEED JUNGLE.

I'm not one to write angry posts, but this really got me angry. I would NOT RECOMMEND him.

But what really impressed me was that when I had a water leak - after the job was already done- I was able to reach out to Isaiah and he fit me into his schedule at the last minute to come figure out what was going on and fix the problem.
