Dr. Katie Ostrom is by far the best Dr. I have ever met. Her bedside manner surpasses all. My husband and I were looking for a specialist to help us conceive. We had been struggling for two years and Dr. Ostrom came highly recommended.
Our first appointment with her my husband and I both left her office discussing what an amazing Dr. she is and how were were thrilled to begin our journey. Ostrom helps you in the most delicate way. She takes things at your pace, she listens to you, and she is so uplifting in every way.
She also makes herself available to you and stays in touch throughout your journey. This is super important to us and has been amazing.
We’re still in our journey but we couldn’t be any happier to be working with Dr. Ostrom.

Dr. Ostroms office is comfortable and welcoming. The entire staff is great, and Dr. Ostrom especially goes out of her way to make sure each patient is well taken care of. She listens so well to each concern you can tell she genuinely cares about each person that walks into her office. Not to mention she’s brilliant and so good at what she does! I trust her 100%. I highly recommend her.

We moved to Homer for Dr Ostrom because we heard such great things and everything we heard was true! She was the best doctor I’ve ever had and went above and beyond looking out for me and my pregnancy. She heard my concerns in every appointment and had such a positive approach to my care. My pregnancy was high risk and I had a lot (a lot a lot) of anxiety with it, but I felt like I could trust Dr Ostrom and her advice. I really loved the on demand mentality of care (texting was such a gift) that I received from this team, it helped me get through the hard moments. If you are looking for an OBGYN who will empower you and won’t ever shame you she’s the best. I think the least judgmental person I’ve ever met. I seriously wish she could be my doctor for everything. I’m holding the most precious baby thanks to the hard work and wisdom of this doctor and her team. You will love all of them!

Very supportive and she made me feel safe, comfortable, and like I was actually being listened to all the time. 24/7 could talk to her and ask any questions. My labor and delivery went as smooth as it could have and she helped make sure I was as comfortable as could be. Would 10/10 recommend Dr Ostrom to everyone!

Katie and her team are amazing! They are very welcoming and you're definitely heard when you have something to say. I recommend people to Katie now and Will continue to do in the future. I have been battling with PCOS for over 10 years. I was going to the native hospital in Anchorage and other doctors as well. I had a friend referred me to Dr. Ohstrom. I made an appointment and I am so thrilled that I did. She treats me like I am one of her own family members. She is sweet, caring, and kind. I don’t plan on seeing any other doctors for my lady stuff. She is so fabulous and I am just truly blessed that I have found her. She provides exceptional care as she is just a godsend. Her office staff is a fabulous as well.

Dr. Olstrom has definitely set the standard for excellent!!! Wonderful group of people. I couldn’t have had a more comfortable and pleasant experience! Dr. Ostrom is an amazing doctor. She is compassionate, caring, and intelligent. I love her style of talking to patients—sitting on a comfortable couch to talk instead of in a gown on an examining room table. Homer is very, very lucky to have an Ob-Gyn doctor like her. She is a gift to all women.
