We have enjoyed a relationship with Keyser Energy for over 25 years. They are always responsive, professional, courteous and willing to resolve problems. We can count on them. Always. Mike R., an excellent technician, Brian and Chris, our oil delivery guys, Trish in the office, and most recently Chris (or Kris?) in customer service! We are grateful for them. They have never, in 25 years, let us down. They deliver what they promise. When Trish answers the phone, or Mike gets out of his service truck, or Brian does the “pull” to our tank fill, we know we are in the very best hands, and all will be well. Thank you all!

This review pertains to the price gouging, hidden charges, dishonest corporate practices, and rip-off (dis)service plans that cost more than they are worth. The men and women who deliver the fuel and the local customer service people are top notch, as is the service team. And, I love Trish--she is the best. Sadly, HOP Energy, the conglomerate that bought them does not mirror their excellence. I think the fact that these local workers UNIONIZED in response to HOP's corporate greed is why those workers are so much better than HOP itself.

We’ve used Keyser since we moved here in 2021. They’re consistent and deliver as needed. They bill you so the money isn’t needed up front. That being said, I took the initiative to call around to other oil companies after speaking with a rep at Keyser. She was trying to get us into a plan with $3.75 being the lowest the oil cost will go. Without a plan the price of oil was $4.20/gallon. I called a local oil company and they charge $3.00/gallon. They couldn’t even believe the price gouging. One delivery would’ve cost us $300 more had we used Keyser. They should be ashamed of preying on people who just need heat. It’s expensive enough without the additional costs they’re charging. I’m kicking myself for not looking into this sooner.

We woke up to no hot water this morning. I called Keyser Energy and they said they would send someone out today.
One of their technicians, Brian came out and checked things out. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. He got things fixed in no time. Very fast and friendly service!

I would like to recognize Rita for taking the initiative to recommend we review our plan with Keyser when I called to set up a cleaning for our boiler. She provided insights and recommendations that saved us some money and streamlined our overall plan. She even called us back to provide additional recommendations to improve our plan.
