The company policy is very bad, my husband passed away last year and they said their system could not put me as secondary owner name on the same a/c and needed to open a new a/c. Later I got a bill and they change me ttl $35 for Refuse initiation fee & Move in charge, they didn't tell me on phone or written doc when I asking for changing name! It seems like rob my money, I lost my loved one and short of money, I feel bad for it.
Toho added my name as secondary owner and without any problem to remind the same A/C number!
KUA just want more and more money and not considered!

Just 24 hours after Hurricane Milton hit, they only have 61 outages left out of 90,000 homes, which is extremely impressive. Utility companies rarely get good reviews, but I have major respect for the KUA linemen for getting everything back up that quickly. Especially after seeing how long it took for electricity to come back in the Carolinas & Georgia after Helene.

Now obviously I haven’t dealt with their customer service in depth, which is what many of the negative reviews are about. However, even if they do have mediocre customer service, I will take that tradeoff 10 times out of 10 for their fast outage response.

Horrible customer service!

I was calling becuse of a security deposit they said I owed which when I set service up was told would be 200 and then I got another notice was 400. I tried for three days get them on the phone said 5 to 10 minute wait each time waited over 40 minutes before hung up. Finally got someone today and all she said is yes you have owe 200 more I said your rep told me when I signed up it would be 200. She said I’m sorry that’s not the case so I was lied to. Then I ask for supervisor and she said I’m sorry none is available without checking and then I said I’ll wait and she said I can’t hold up this line for that and hung up! Wow I pay all this money and how I treated unreal. It’s becusee they can only option for electric in this area! Can’t wait till don’t have to use KUA after being treated this way! Oh and please don’t respond and say please email us I have done that three times and still haven’t got response so it shows how much you care about your people!

I have called and made several work order reports of trees on power lines behind my house. They said I should get some type of response within 2 weeks it's been
2 months now, not even a phone call or email. Somebody is not on their JOB😡 so once again Maybe this may get their attention asupervisor or someone and that department. Monica Cowan 65 moon lane, Kissimmee 34746!!!

KUA don’t care about their customers even after the aftermath of the hurricanes they will cut your service off with no regards to all the additional expenditures people had to prepare before the hurricanes and the recovery aftermath. KUA don’t care if they are elderly, disabled, people with special needs or equipment like oxigene etc infants of children. Simply they will cut off. Unfortunately there is Monopoly of the the electrical service so take or leave it!

I called at 2om to get services transferred and never got the email confirmation. Had to wait 3 days sleep in my car till monday to get proof services was transferred to move into new unit! Unacceptable!

Your team rocks. 2 days before Milton, your teams were out here on our road trimming back the branches. So far, lots of other cities and parts of Kissimmee have lost power, but we are here....Good to Go. Awesome pre-emptive planning KUA and crew. Thank you.
