Last I checked it's illegal to shut off power to a residence if you don't send a bill or disconnect notice, fix y'all's shit or people are gonna take legal action

My bill has ALWAYS been paid on time. Due to a mixup in my latest billing, LPEA has been harassing me with letters, phone calls, etc. They have been advised that the bill has been paid, and yet they still harass me. Despite numerous phone calls to them to cease, they just continue to do so. I wish I could give them minus 0 stars.
Update: 05/12/2024 My bill is not yet due, and yet today I received a reminder to pay it. I cannot believe the audacity of this company re getting their money. Shame on them for being so obnoxious! Sure wish we had another electric company in town.

Due to illness I was unable to pay my bill until the day after it was due.. yet.. they had to have their $10.00 late charge. (NEVER been late before) I have reported that my electricity goes out sometimes as many as 4 times a night and I have to reset all the clocks in my home but they do NOTHING.. never even called me back after leaving messages. They have gone up on their rates and down on their service and I pray we get another electric company soon to help make them more HONEST and RELIABLE.. let alone give them some training on customer service of which they have NONE!

Our son died unexpectedly and we called to try to make arrangements because of funeral costs. They told us if we don't pay by the first, they will turn it off. The bill is only a few days late right now. I've never seen such grotesque inhumanity.

These folks are fantastic, I could not ask for a better electric company. Great rates, proper communication, everything is solid about them. I have to say, your holiday decorations this year were amazing. Especially the Halloween one!
