We had a fantastic experience with this company we saw all the golf carts on the island and we thought let’s do it. We walked in and they accommodated us, “tbone” made sure we had a cart as it looked like they were all out. The sign in process was easy, we were in and out in 15 minutes. We had such a blast and it was the highlight of the day. You can see so much more of the island. Prices were reasonable and the service was great. We will be back if we make it back to A M I.

Rented a golf cart today and the price was right, we were able to do hourly (only place on AMI that I found) and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend. They were very accommodating for it being last minute, my kids and I loved the cart, and again I couldn’t say enough about the staff. I would recommend and use them again. We had a 6 person, it was comfortable, rode well, and was clean.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. The bikes we got were rusted, which happens a lot near saltwater, but one was barely usable. When asked to exchange it, was told it was our responsibility to take it to them. He suggested using the trolley, but the trolley said the tires were too big, so we had to walk it 3 miles. Not how I wanted to spend half a vacation day. The worst part was how rude they were about it. I really wanted to like this place, but I would suggest renting from another place. There are plenty of rental places with much nicer bikes.

We went on a fat bike tour with Bill. The bikes worked great, we had a super time exploring the island and we even learned some interesting facts about the island history. We highly recommend it.

My husband and I were vacationing in AMI two weeks ago and had actually rented a golf cart from a different company in Holmes Beach (closer to where we were staying). We took our cart out for the day to do some shopping on Pine Ave, and the cart died just across the street from Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals. We tried everything but could not get it to run...not to mention, it was raining / storming like crazy. The free trolleys and available Ubers were also delayed due to the storms.

Bill from Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals walked over to help us, assessed the golf cart, and even helped us push it over to his place to try and charge the cart for us so that we could make it back. The cart never did start running again, but we were blown away by his kindness and willingness to help us in the middle of a storm (for a golf cart that wasn't even theirs).

We plan on using Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals for our golf cart rentals in the future and also plan on trying the mangrove kayaking trip. Thank you, Bill, for your act of kindness. We appreciate you!

Love this place. They’re great people who care about their customers and actually have us extra hours for free. They said it was going to be past closing and said as long as we bring it back before opening the next day it was fine. That’s how you care for your customers! I’ll keep renting from them! Plus they have the best prices on the island!

We brought the entire family to Anna Maria Island and just around the corner from our airbnb we rented Bikes from Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals, and T-Bone/T-BoZ was so cool who helped us, and made our experience so awesome! Thank you for giving me & my daughter the gorgeous Aqua-Marine Blue bikes to ride....so pretty, and so glad we got the basket to add to our bikes to carry all our beach stuff in, & to put all your bags in when going shopping. Also, you can get a water bottle holder to add to your bike as well....So cool! Whatever you do on the island, make sure to rent bikes....we had a blast riding them down the street to the beach each day, and taking bike rides to the adorable local shops and restaurants too. Can't wait to go back again next year....but this time we'll definitely stay longer than 1 week, because there's way too much to do on Island....By the time you get all settled in, it's time to pack back up....NO THANKS!! Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals made our whole experience on Anna Maria Island our new happy place! Thank you!

We rented kayaks here and were very happy with the service and experience. The staff was very friendly and helped us to make the most of our time out on the kayaks. They have a very nice drop spot located behind the shop that leads out into the beautiful Bay. Highly recommend!
