I had a great experience with LD buildings. I went back and forth on the idea of getting a portable shed for a while before reaching out through an inquiry on their website. I asked a lot of questions and Andrew was patient and answered them all thoroughly. When I made the decision to do it, Andrew helped with the transaction, told me what I had to do. The day of set up he gave me plenty of notice that it was on the way. The 2 gentlemen that completed the delivery and set up were very professional and made sure it was positioned to my liking. 100% recommend.

The tool shed I bought is awesome. It's sturdy and durable. This is the second shed I bought at LD building. The installation crew was fantastic in securing the shed to the ground to keep it from moving in windy conditions. This company is very professional and I thank Ben for his help.

I'm giving three stars because the building and slab itself has turned out good so far. It was put up right before hurricane Nicole and withstood wind and rain, with no leaks. My complaint is simply this, offer all of the options, confirm what the customer is paying for, and be available for questions, comments and concerns after the sale. Since I do this for a living, and I spot discrepancies in contractual paperwork, it is my only regret that I was not physically present when the paperwork was signed and a check handed over. My fiance went himself and signed a contract for the building.
We were on a list, since these are in high demand. Slab was laid out and poured with no issues. Building workers showed up with not enough insulation for the whole building, just the roof. This was quickly corrected and insulation was brought out to do the job. Building was put up in a couple days. Once my fiance started inspecting how it was put together, we quickly realized the doors are cheap and are spring doors with a pull down chain and locks on the outside. Tell how this makes sense?! This is not what we wanted.
My father in law got his building done by LD a while back and got the chain roll up doors with the locks on the inside. He said he made no special request for these, this is what they brought and installed so we were under the assumption that these were the doors that were going to be installed on our building as the description on the quote just said "10X10 doors" with no specifics as to chain or springs. We reached out to Ben to find some sort of solution to the issue, we were even willing to pay the difference in cost for the chain doors if they would just come out and swap them. Ben has told us there is nothing they will do. We will have to eat the cost of $1200 A PIECE for these spring roll up doors and pay an extra $2000 a piece for the chain roll up doors even though we have paid over $29k for this building. I really do try to shop local and I heard good things about this place but I will do my best to make sure nobody else gets screwed by LD buildings again. This type of run around is bad business. The "good ole boy" network will get you everytime. PAY ATTENTION TO PAPERWORK, RANDOM "SURCHARGES" , AND ASK QUESTIONS!!
