The day they were going to shut off the water the tech decided to warn me thank goodness. I tried all day that day to make an account for my business and couldn’t on the app and the site! The documents wouldn’t upload! I showed up to their location before close and they were closed and gone already for the day. So showed up the next morning at 8am and we weren’t allowed in! So went through the drive thru they did say I had everything and it was good to go but what a horrible and stressful experience! Covid is not an issue anymore people you should be helping people better then this!

It's been 5 days since I sent in my application with all the requirements. I've had no follow up calls, no emails, nothing. What do they even do over there Their office is closed to the public, so you can only apply online or through a super buggy app. I just recently moved in and water got shut-off, so I've been trying to set up an account to pay these people. NO COMMUNICATION, TERRIBLE SERVICE, AND LIARS. On their app and website they said if you send in an application before noon, they'd look at it same day. Wrong. Don't trust these people, and spam call them if you want to get anything done. God forbid, you have a day job that doesn't allow you to be on the phone all day, so you can never have time to call them on their small business hours of 8-5 on weekdays. Idiotic.

During IAN had alerts on water conditions, yet 7 days later, nothing. We are assuming under boil water. Small towns can drink yet we have no knowledge. They could let us know if the whole system needs to be built or what. But they sent out a bill!!!! Got to love them.

I can never tell when you're coming out to shut my water off because it's more than $60 due, even though I have well over $60 in your account already as a trust deposit to buffer this exact situation. Weird how that works, I leave you something to satisfy any chance I will NOT pay you, and you STILL penalize me with attempting shutting off my water over $60 debt, in order to profit $30 as a fee, yes that is 50% of my debt, EVERY THREE WEEKS, even though I consistently pay OVER what is due. I understand what you are doing. Half the bills are electronic, half the notices are paper and you have zero provisions to analyze past account activity for cross reference. NOW you have moved the mail-in address across the country to add more time and possible technically late payments which empowers you to reap a bounty of reconnect fees. Organized chaos is crafty, but immoral.
I am a struggling single father of a well behaved teenage boy. His mother was killed 10 years ago and I am all on my own. I budget, I pay over, I maintain and monitor my money and bills very closely. This counties utilities company has been the absolute MOST consistent at surprising me with these charges, which somehow always inflate no matter how much OVER I pay.

And will you please explain to me the purpose of the DEPOSIT I left with you to get my water on and move in? What does that money signify? Why would you shut off my service for a debt of 1/3 the money you are holding as a guarantee I will fulfill my duty as a client of this company?

I am impressed at the prompt response and professionalism provided when I was requesting services for our business. First time I do not have to follow up and be frustrated for non response as it usually happens with other counties utility providers. Please keep it up, this are the little things that make customers happy and appreciative. Wish you could provide services all over Florida. Awesome service

Apparently LCU is "fleecing" Lee County water users. Since the hurricane our water usage doubled even though nothing has changed in our habits and there have been no leaks found at our home. The customer service reps are useless! Insist we have a 3000 gallon leak even though everything is bone dry inside and out. They said we used 1800 gallons during the hurricane even though we had no water service at all! There is no one to turn to
Pretty sad when our water bill is higher than our electric bill. There must be a way to get this resolved !
