I am so thankful that I decided to get solar panels to save on energy costs. The best part of it was trusting the job to Legacy Solar. From the very first meeting with Jon, it's been a wonderful experience. Then Brittney came out and explained everything about how the job would be installed. It was very easy to understand where things would go. The installers were very good as well and I am completely satisfied with the workmanship. Lastly Sarah came out to go over everything with me and make sure that I understood how it all works. The entire team is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If you are interested in solar, look no further. Forget the 5 star review above because I'm giving them 10 stars. Thank you everyone and have a great Christmas!

Legacy Solar provided top notch installation, feedback, and support during and after our solar installation. The sales person, Santo, was courteous and knowledgeable and sized the system according to our usage. The installation crew communicated every step along the way and the support staff at Legacy Solar kept me informed while the system was commissioned. The ground mount support structure is very sturdy and was installed straight and level. The electrical system installed was to code and professionally installed. Sarah provided excellent post-install follow up and went over any and all questions I had. Overall this was a great experience dealing with Legacy Solar. After researching solar options for over 2 years and finally deciding on Legacy Solar, I have no regrets.

I talked with Legacy Solar at the Home Show in Peoria. There were I think seven solar companies represented. They were the first to call me and the only ones who came to my house to give me a presentation. I was impressed. Two months later I was as making electricity.
They kept me updated with emails every step of the way. From start to finish, I felt they really cared about the job they were doing.
Needless to say, I highly recommend them.

SunPower by Legacy made the process of going solar very easy. John came out and explained everything to us and that is exactly how it happened. I call with questions. John was always polite, friendly, and curious, even when I should have call the office.
The group that came to install the panels talk to us explained everything and answered all are questions.
Sarah that come to explain how are power bill will read. Set up app on phone so we can track our system. Gave us one phone number to call for any problem we might have. They take care of everything.

I’ve thought about Solar for years & thought Now was the Time - i contacted 3 Companies & they were all fairly close in Price - 2 were Local & 1 was National so i felt comfortable with Local. Aaron the Salesman worked with me to make me feel Comfortable & he Was the One that Sold Me.

Then i got the opportunity to work with John to setup the Installation & work through together with Ameren for Coordination, again excellent, then the 3 Men came and Installed through some pretty nasty weather. Again i couldn’t have been more pleased & finally Sarah the Customer Service person great Job.

Now let me finally say The Proof is in it Making Us Money $ 💰💰

Legacy Solar is a really wonderful company. Did about a year of research before choosing them. Ended up with a system that has MUCH nicer equipment than any of the other quotes and was not any more expensive in the end! (425w panels with micro-inverters!)
Don was a great salesperson- not pushy, open to questions, took a lot of time with me. He walked me though all kinds of financing options and the pros and cons of each route. Also (and this is rare) he’s stayed in contact even after the install!
The instillation team was really friendly and knowledgeable. Wyatt and Josh let me follow them around as they worked and happily answered ALL my nerdy questions.
The system kept tripping one of the breakers the first weekend it was online and they immediately came back Monday morning to look into it. Turns out the system is producing MORE energy than they expected! Good for me! They upped the capacity of the breaker for free and the system has been running GREAT since!
The customer service team (Sarah) has been in constant contact, offering updates throughout the whole process as well as a follow up to make sure everything is going well and to see if I had more questions.

All in all the experience of working with legacy has been really clear and communicative. I’ve felt supported by the sales, install, and service teams. I’d recommend them in a HEARTBEAT.
