I participated in one of the first remote audits.The Building Analyst that conducted the audit (Heather) was extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I thought my home was very tight, from an insulation standpoint, as my energy bills are very reasonable. But Heather found many areas where I could improve insulation and energy efficiency. The report that followed was extremely detailed and should prove very useful as I decide which recommendations make sense for my family in terms of economics, comfort and our carbon footprint. I highly recommend LEAP as a great resource for anyone wanting to learn how to improve the energy efficiency of their home.

The LEAP program coordinator and technician were pleasant, easy to work with, and provided valuable insight into the energy efficiency of my home. They also replaced my old lights with 'free' (subsidized) energy efficient ones which have made a noticeable difference in the temperature of my living spaces. I highly recommend getting an assessment if you want to understand more about your home.

I had originally posted a negative review after having a home energy audit conducted in early March. We were frustrated that the infrared scanning had not been done and were not hearing back from LEAP/had not received our report.

After posting our review, both the office administrator and a manager personally reached out to apologize for the lack of communication, and a second- free- appointment was offered to conduct the infrared test.

We have since received our full report in a timely manner and have found the analysis and recommendations to be very helpful. The blower door and infrared tests were especially useful as these are tests homeowners cannot easily perform themselves. LEAP is currently offering these home energy audits- a $500+ value- for just $45. Overall, we feel their energy assessments are a great resource. We are thankful that they were so gracious in their commitment to making sure customers are satisfied with their services!

I waited until the current cold snap to write my review because I wanted a real test of the insulation work they did for us. Today I am very happy to report that our house is warmer than ever thanks to the energy audit and weatherization work they did. A real test was our master bathroom. This room juts out of the upper story in a way that's difficult to insulate. Each hear when the temperature dropped way below freezing, like today, the pipes froze. During the cold periods this room was reliably around 50 degrees, pretty cold for a bathroom! Well last night I turned on the space heater in this room and warmed it up to 64 degrees and then turned it off. Amazingly, after the outdoor temperature plunged to the teens, this morning the room was still 64 degrees! The insulation around this room is working great! The team was wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end. When we had questions about how things were going, they were happy to answer and fixed a couple of things that needed additional work later. We are extremely happy with LEAP! THANK YOU!
