When you go to the website, it says the fee is $10, but free to Tuscon residents that can provide proof of residency. They need to update the website. Other than that, the lady at the front was friendly and helpful.

Went to the household hazardous waste and dropped off some old paints. The guys were very helpful and answered all my questions. It's a great program.

These people are true scam artist I have been going to this location my whole life, and it seems that greed really got a hold of them as they manipulate their scales so that they can charge you commercially instead of residential , and if you didnt know they dont calibrate their scale that often I was told every 4 months they calibrate , at the very least you would think they would be ethical enough to tell you why they are charging you comercial seems like they just profile who they want. Also keep in mind that I had gone there the last 3 times and I know for a fact that I didnt go over a ton and some how some way all those times the scale marked the weight exactly the same, witch was bearly over a ton , what a coincidence

Horrible customer service!!! Called to dispute a credit card charge and though they explained the charge they were very unsympathetic and rude. It appears to be a credit card hold that customers aren't informed of at the time of payment. When I expressed my annoyance in having to call in for an explanation she was dismissive and could care less.

I mean. . . it's a landfill. There's a section for scrap metal - both fridge/ac unit and regular metal. it puts into perspective the amount of waste we produce as humans - but have your existential crisis after you leave, cuz people tryin' to back into your spot. Smells funky, duh. Gate lady always has fabulous hair and nails, and is always super helpful, professional, and nice. I mean, its selling point for the being landfill you wanna go to is the spectacular views of all the mountains around tucson. . . But even with the views, probably shouldn't use it for a family reunion or proposal spot.

Wait time on the weekend is over an hour! With no guarantee of getting in if you don't have 4 wheel drive. No signs saying that, you'll just get turned away after waiting for an hour to get in!

Takes forever!!! Roads are really rough. Expect to wait an hour for the scales, doesnt matter the time. Staff is really slow.

Update: over 45 minutes just to weigh out and pay.
