I came to drop off my load and I've been currently waiting over 45 minutes for someone to check me out on the weigh out. Apparently the guy that took my driver's license and credit card went MIA.

Who does this? It's currently 6:23 am on 12/28/24.

The night guys are always unnecessarily rude. This was a new stunt.

Warning warning
Don’t go there

I arrived at the site, and the worker at bay number six asked me about my vest, but I had forgotten it. There were two other Mexican guys unloading their load , who were not wearing vests and hard hats. I asked him why you didn’t ask them to wear their safety gear properly, as they were standing right in front of him. However, he kept talking to me and didn’t acknowledge my question.

Later, he called his manager, ANALCO , and asked me again where my vest was. I admitted that I had forgotten it and apologized. He told me I had to go buy one. I asked him why YOU AND HIM didn’t make the same request of the others Mexican guys , but he ignored me and he said that’s not your job . After that, I went back to the office to get a hard hat, and they told me that next time, I shouldn’t talk to other workers.

I explained that I wasn’t talking to them, I just noticed that they weren’t being asked other people to wear their safety gear, yet I was. On top of that, I felt overcharged—they i had a 10-foot U-Haul, but they claimed it was loaded with 8 tons, which didn’t seem right.”

Just got into it with an LRS Waste Management truck driver who, despite my attempts to educate him how small our dead-end street is, attempted and failed to turn his truck around on our dead end street without running over lawns. Then, when I pointed out I was correct, he got out of his truck, flipped me off and stood at the end of my driveway recording my home on his phone for like 6 seconds. WTH is THAT about If there were negative rating options, I would have elected one of those.

getting someone to answer the phone is impossible. I made 4 separate attempts to contact the company for services. Each time after following the telephone prompts, i was placed on hold for over 30 minutes and then they disconnected the call without answering, causing me to place another call and go through the whole process all over again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The very first time they picked up our garbage they damaged the fence around our parking lot and are refusing to take responsibility. It took them over a month (and numerous follow ups from me) for them to determine that they would not cover the damages unless we had eyewitnesses. They tried to suggest that someone hit the dumpster with their vehicle, yet there was no damage to the front of the dumpster and there was clearly a huge dent in the top of the fence indicating that the dumpster had been dropped from above. The only other plausible explanation is that another garbage company lifted our dumpster and dropped it on our fence within a few hours of Lakeshore collecting our garbage, or the incredible hulk / king kong happened to walk through our alley -- neither seems very likely. Anyway, had I known they'd refuse to do the right thing we would have gotten the fence repaired ASAP as there has been increasing criminal activity in our alley, but they did not show any concern about the threat to our safety by treating the situation with any kind of urgency. They did offer a free month of service which covers about 15% of the cost to repair the fence.

There are so many options out there in similar price ranges - there's absolutely no reason to go with these guys. Save yourself the hassle and money and find a company with more integrity (or at least better drivers).

Its such an expensive place, i recommend everybody to go to Tri-state Disposal. LRS makes u buy a vest and a helmet, they charge $10 per mattress. Everytime i go theres a whole new rule and the prices always go up, i never thought it would cost an arm and a leg to throw garbage. The employees there never smile, i get it they work at a dump so theyre always in a grumpy mood.
