My computer was overheating and the fans were working so hard I thought my computer was getting ready to takeoff into space. Brought my 2017 Macbook Pro in and was met with nothing but kindness and respect. It was an extremely quick turnaround ( 1 day but I also was fortunate nothing major was wrong with my computer ). I handed over my computer, which is an extension of my person and I felt safe. That's the big thing, you feel safe and comfortable in their shop. I w i l l be returning for any future issues. 5/5, no questions asked.

I brought my MacBook Pro to macVolks for a battery replacement. For part of the repair, the computer had to be sent to Apple which they handled for me. When we got the computer back, the screen was broken. Apple denied breaking it but the folks at macVolks had pictures and followed up with Apple during the weeks long back and forth until Apple finally fixed the screen. Getting support from Apple can be a nightmare so I'm VERY grateful to macVolks for going out of their way to resolve this dispute for me. Great team over there and I'm definitely going back next time I have an issue with any of my Apple products. Thank you!!!

I found this repair shop close to my home by an Apple Care referral. I dropped my MacBook Pro off for a cracked screen repair on a Friday afternoon and it was ready by Monday. They also diagnosed a malfunctioning trackpad and replaced that too.

I never would have thought to go to a third-party repair shop but it was so easy and convenient and FAST. A much better experience for something like this than dealing with the crowds at an Apple Store.

I'm a 35-year Apple enthusiast and 100% would recommend and will go here first for all my future service needs.

Something I couldn’t fix myself.

I now have a working MacBook Pro ? ?

Friendly service.
Transparent pricing on the website.
Mostly by appointment only right now.
But I was able to schedule an appointment thru Apple.com (how I heard about them).

I had a nightmare that came true: my daughter dropped something on my laptop. My every day, get stuff done while kids are running in circles around me laptop. ? It's a work computer, fully pimped out and needed for everyday business.

I made an appointment online, came in, and was given the news. It could be fixed!

I received a follow-up call a few hours later to confirm it was just the screen that needed repair. I approved the repair and was told I should hear back by a certain date.

I was called ahead of schedule! One thing I appreciate the most is constant communication and hitting deadlines. They did both.

I had mistakenly smashed my phone leaving my house causing my phone to crack & have the screen glitching lime green. Checked with apple care to schedule an appointment ASAP (Available was the next day but they take walk ins). Relayed the information & issue of the phone. Left my device & was told I needed a whole unit change which I understood. It only took 3 days before my phone replacement came in & was easily able to switch over with the iCloud backup. Thank you so much for the patience & understanding! Apple covered majority of the expenses so it was great.

I brilliantly spilled some water on my MacBook Air 🙁 and as a result the cursor was stuck in one place. I called a computer repair place which got great reviews in Berkeley, but they were very vague regarding the process and possible cost - "Just bring it in and we'll take a look" was all I got. I then called macVolks and spoke to Shelby, who listened to the issue and told me what repair options they offered and the cost right up front. It was such a breath of fresh air to speak with her! The repair process was very smooth and exactly as she had described it, without any surprises along the way. There was a diagnostic step and they quickly texted me with what the problem was and the proposed fix with cost. I proceeded with the repair and within a matter of a few days, the laptop was back to me, working like new! I found the staff at macVolks to be very professional, expert, efficient, cost effective and kind, with great customer service by Shelby and Sharmin. Would highly recommend this local gem of a business in Concord!

My Mac Book Pro had a problem with the Batteries. They were "bulging/swelling to where the laptop would not set flat on the desk. Using the key board would make it rock back and forth. Closer inspection, found there were a couple screws that had popped out the deformed bottom cover.
Took it into "macVolks" , Charmin said they wouldn't know what the cost was going to be until the technicians inspect the batteries. Informed me that it may take a week or so to order batteries and misc. parts.
Even with the "Memorial Day Weekend" , I received a text exactly 7 days since I dropped it off:
"Hi Jeff! Your computer is ready for pickup! Please let me know when you’re available to come by. Thank you!"
I went to pick up my Laptop, was told "No charge" just sign here.........."batteries are covered by Apple through a recall . They even replaced my Keyboard! I would recommend macVolks to everyone I know for their Professionalism and Honesty.
