Chad came to our home in a timely manner to evaluate our electrical panel which was old and needed to be replaced. The written estimate was logical and fair. We committed to having the work done and it was completed by Jim and Tanner. They were very courteous and professional and did a great job. Phone calls, texts, and emails were always quickly answered and the employees showed up when they were scheduled. Thank you. I would recommend Magic Sun to others!

Sales staff were good and knowledgeable; however, installers were the exact opposite. They damaged my roof, didn't say anything, and tried to fix the damage with caulking which my roofer laughed at. They also tried to enter my second story by climbing onto my master balcony but when they discovered it was locked they had to come ask me if they could get in. There are plenty of other companies out there and would not recommend or use Magic Sun on any of my other properties.

I had magic sun quote a job after another installer drug their feet on starting my project. Magic sun was able to transfer my NEM 2.0 application to them and get the job done very quickly. Oscars power generation quote was conservative and after six months of producing, we are consistently generating more than their estimate, and the equipment is running flawlessly. My install involved a main panel upgrade and navigating a very steep and fragmented roofline, and they were able to perform that themselves and handled all of the scheduling and permitting process (which bogged down the previous company) quickly. Their guys were on time and cleaned up after themselves. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

I was replacing a shake roof with tile and asked the Bartile rep who was certified to install on their roof without invalidating warranty - Magic Sun. I had already met with several solar companies but was immediately impressed with their knowledge and use of technology to get exact measurements. Most other solar sales guys barely have a grasp of the product or been taught to sell the product so you cant actually have a conversation. The install team was exceptional and super helpful when they would stumble across issues on the house that was outside of the project. Almost 13kW install and already saw the difference in the short winter days. Call Magic Sun today!

Magic Sun like all companies is not perfect BUT they are terrific to work with! They are knowledgeable and experts at what they do! And they do what they say they are going to do!

They handled a small hiccup quickly and professionally which is hard to come by in todays marketplace. Adalia and Tanner are real professionals who are knowledgeable, straight forward and fair! My system was large and complex and not an easy install. They designed it and installed it with no problem. It works and looks great! You can trust them to do it right. I will be calling them when the bi-directional systems for cars becomes available next year for another project!

Our sales guy, Oscar, was very knowledgeable and made the back and forth before signing a great experience. The install crew led by Zack was great and got the job done in about three hours, walking me through everything and answering my questions. Daniel came by the next day to help during the city inspection and was also awesome. All in all, everyone at Magic Sun turned any anxiety I had about what I thought would be a huge hassle of a project into a great experience with zero regrets. Highly recommend this team to anyone looking into solar for their house!

We inquired and it took a long time for Magic Sun Solar’s team to return our call. The team came out, “fixed” the solar panels, then we got solar-powered heated pool for the summer season last year. By Fall 2022, our neighbor noticed that our solar panel led to street side water leakage. We have called Magic Sun Solar several times, leaving messages to ask them to come back and help us fix (or even replace) the solar panel and corresponding leakage. NO ONE returned our calls. Please do not bother to reach out — really do not understand the five-star rating if the basic professionalism of getting back to your customer is not even there.

Oscar was great, very knowledgable and not pushy. Our 15 solar panels were installed this morning and we financed the system through their recommended credit union, NuVision. The whole process was extremely smooth, from estimating, scheduling, financing, and installation. The installers showed up at 8am on time and we are producing now at 1:00pm the same day, they even painted the conduit to match the rest of the house. I couldn't be happier to reduce our dependence on PG&E, especially as rates are going up. Going local was definitely the right move and I'd recommend Magic Sun any time. They weren't the lowest price but they weren't the highest and in my opinion you get what you pay for. I went with the company that impressed me the most and had a good local presence and reputation.
