I been going here for years to sell my recycle. I just started paying attention to their prices and they are not paying top dollar. I advise people to shop around. For example they payed me $2.90 a pound for copper I found a place that pays $3.50 that adds up in the long run. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

All the employees are great and they have a ton of knowledge about all recyclable materials and the prices are great also!

Im still gonna keep my 5 star rating for y'all but I have an issue. I have aluminum crv cans that have the top separated from the can because at the bar where the cans come from they remove the top for some reason, i think to drink from the can like a cup, well I bring in the cans with the lids and I am told you will not pay CRV on them. One of the employees said they can't because i did not purchase them. How many of the cans and bottles that people bring in do you think they purchased all of them? It doesn't matter who paid the deposit on the can. The deposit was paid. It just doesn't make sense because I can take the lid, put it in the can and then smash the can, and you will never know that they were separated. Then the one employee raise his voice at me. Telling me that he already told me he can't take it, but he didn't explain any sensable reason as to why. I'm not mad at you guys and I'm not even feeling any type of way besides just being confused. Another point I'd like to make is there are some containers that do not say crv on them at all, but you guys take them as crv now like wine bottles. Do you see why maybe I might be a bit confused. That's my little event. But I love you guys and I thank you for doing business with me and keep up the good work and yeah stay smart and be safe!!!

Run of your mill recycling center. Most of the workers speak Spanish, but clear enough English to finish a transaction. Set in the rural area of Montclair ,Ontario border, the place is next to a railroad track still being used today. The yard is one of three, yes that's right three. One is for industrial recycling materials via businesses , the other for packing and shipping for the state it seems and the one I'm reviewing. Is for the local collected and recyclables. It's really simple, you pull in one way. You empty your cargo in containers lined against the wall. Walk up to the yellow line, to get weighed in and get your receipt. Then make your way to a very wierd one way mirror window and hand over your ticket. Collect your money and leave knowing you help your carbon footprint. Serve is very minimal by example. It's dirty and industrial, so you know it's recycling standards. Quick and painless. Bring gloves and have fun.

Called first they quoted $3.25 on copper and "top dollar" on lead
they weigh it then take it and give you a slip then the cashier paid $0.98lb on the 138 pounds of copper and $0.07 (seven pennies) on the 134 pounds of lead about $150 wasn't worth my time
Not an honest system and they do not pay "top dollar"

I've been going to this recycling center for years, and I've never had a bad experience taking in cans and bottles. Stopped by with a SUV full and was able to get in and out quickly. It can get busy, but if you have your materials sorted already, all you have to do is dump it in their containers and slide it over. Today it was really busy, but while I was sitting in my car waiting for a spot to open up, a guy named Jake assured me they'd get me in there asap so I could drop everything off. The workers helping weigh and sort are kind and make the process easy! Even in the 100 degree heat! Picking up my money is always a little weird, only because it is really hard to hear and see the women behind the windows, but I always manage to get in and out pretty quickly regardless. I'll be back again the next time I save a car load of recycling.

BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS

Received $7 dollars for an all aluminum trailer rim. But other place will give you +$30. Unfortunately in hopes of finding someone I could do business to keep trading these aluminum rims I was let down by someone’s personal greed

I receive them all the time at work so I don’t mind hope his family all ate and it wasn’t for personal addictions, since he probably needs it more than I do. It’s even more sad that it was a short older guys who usually has his safety goggles on that I’ve seen there for years

But got another one took it down the street and received $35 for it.
Just to confirm this place either doesn’t know enough to properly pay customer for stuff other than the minor things like cans and plastics
or they do know and took advantage of the situation for personal revenue

Do Not bring them any aluminum rims from cars trucks and trailers no mudflap bracket either.

Go up
