I called Midwest to come out and fix my thirty year old furnace. Leo and Mark were both thorough and honest in their evaluation of my old unit and in the end decided it was in my best interest to have them install both a new furnace and AC instead of fixing the old one. My 20 year old furnace died and at 4:30pm, Mark shifted things around and squeezed an emergency install in the next morning. Leo did a fantastic job and it’s clear he takes pride in his work. I see some reviews saying its a bit pricey, i didnt notice and the quality would have been worth it anyways.

The technicians from Midwest comfort are always great, but I have a hard time seeing how replacing a $20-60 part (Amazon prices, the higher end being the ‘original’ Aprilaire part) would cost $421? 20 minutes of labor to diagnose and replace the humidifier solenoid. I am thinking about looking for a more reasonably priced company.
