On a whim drove down to check out the highly recommended course. The rate was $85 for 18 w/cart as advertised in the CT playbook. The staff were all very good, credit to them. Practice range was only about 150 yards but a nice perk. The designated chipping area was large but the grass on the green was much longer than the putting area and on the course. The front 9 needs some work. There were plenty of patchy areas. In fairness we have had extreme heat for about three weeks. The greens were disappointing especially on the front 9. So many ball marks and poorly repaired ball marks, a few cigarette butts and cigar burns. Bunkers had nice texture but they were poorly maintained. On the second hole my putt went almost entirely in and popped out. Upon closer inspection it looked like the lip of the cup was exposed. Same thing happened to my playing partner on another hole. We'd both never seen that happen before. Back 9 was a little better. #12 was closed! The course is pretty easy from the white tees. It has a lot of potential. In the end I was disappointed for the value.

Recently went for a bachelor's party. The staff was incredible. Always accommodating and asking if we needed anything. The Starter even told us the perfect way to play the course. We had a group of 16 people and it was a flawless and great round for everyone! It was the second day it was open for the year and the course was already in mid season form.
Will definitely be back some time soon!

Golf course is now open for the season. Holes 3 and 12 are having their greens reshaped so there are temporary greens/flags for now.

The course was maintained adequately and most of the staff were great. Only exception was the Course Ranger. He went to me three times and once to another person in my group to hurry up. I wasn’t even playing every hole (shoulder injury) and no group was behind us waiting. In fact, we were ahead by a full hole. The guy needs to relax. Ruined the experience for us. Would not recommend.

The best part about this golf course is the way the staff treats me and my family. They always are so nice and accommodating. The man in the bar always remembers our names which is very endearing. I'll always come back.

Mediocre golf course. Decent rolls on the greens (pretty beat up today). Sand traps need a lot of work! The overall layout is pretty bizarre, lots of strong doglegs. Make sure you study the course beforehand.

Cool layout. Some unique and challenging holes that make it fun.
Quality of the course was lacking and I’ve played at better maintained courses that cost half the price.
The course marshal was rude. Yelled at my group to pick up then pace. We explained that we had been waiting on every tee shot and approach shot due to the group in front of us. Just responded “pick it up” and drove away. Ruined the experience on what could’ve otherwise been a good golf day.
