Micheal, my inspector was outstanding. He really did help and was informative about how the property I live in could affect a lot of factors which I am expecting. He was very friendly and welcoming especially because I have a dog. Very patient into explaining how pricing works and definitely knew what he was doing. If anything I think he deserves a raise because he was the first inspector I’ve had that actually got things handled correctly and kind at the same time! 10/10 experience.

Hired this company to inspect my place for mold. My inspector Mike Lufti did an amazing and professional job taking samples and going above and beyond. I had a bad experience with another company in the past and I’m very grateful I came across this company. They are reasonably priced and do a wonderful thorough job.

The Los Angeles inspector, Mike Lufti, is highly unreliable. He tried to cancel on me the night before an important inspection, eventually came, and what ostensibly begins as a $375 job winds up costing $700 by the time it's done. To top it off he didn't invoice any of it, requested $600 then tried to blame me for forgetting $100 which he had never mentioned. (Note that all the good reviews are minimum 5 years old, most 7 years old).

I cannot thank Mike Lutfi at MI&T enough! After being sick for 1.5+ years in my apartment and having concerns about the cause being mold, Mike confirmed the presence of Stachbotrys (toxic black mold).

A couple things to note:
- EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE; I was able to get an appointment setup the next day after calling, and they provided me with details of cost expectations and the testing process upfront so I felt prepared before Mike's visit.
- PROFESSIONALISM: Mike was on time, incredibly professional, and knowledgable.
- SKILLSET: He was able to quickly identify water damage in my kitchen and identify the reason for the mold, which was not visible to any ordinary person - that is why it was CRITICAL to have a professional like Mike come in and use his knowledge and tools for testing.
- MINDFUL: He helped saved me money on testing, by focusing on the biggest red flag area.
- EMPATHETIC: He empathized with me and my situation, I could tell he truly cared and he proved this by getting the results back to me within 24 hrs, so I could quickly bring this up to my landlord to begin remediation ASAP.
- DOCUMENTATION & EVIDENCE: His lab results and summary documents were extremely thorough: 14 page lab results and 23 page summary document.

SUMMARY: Without Mike's thorough inspection, documentation/lab results, and urgency towards this matter - I would never have known about the mold, and my landlord would have never been able to act on remediation. I absolutely recommend using Mike for Mold Inspection & Testing.

Gave me $65 price on the phone came to the house and it became $400. Then on the phone with the office the phone operator said that he had told me and lied to me.

Hey there, let me share my experience with this company. Initially, everything seemed quite promising. I had a representative named Mike who was knowledgeable and seemed nice enough. He even assured me that he would act as a witness in my case, which was a crucial factor for me.

However, things took a turn for the worse. After making those promises, the company completely vanished. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out to them through calls and texts, they ignored all my requests. It was as if they disappeared into thin air, leaving me high and dry.

I even went to the extent of involving my attorney to get their attention, but they still didn't respond. The lack of communication and follow-through was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. They made commitments they couldn't keep.

I feel compelled to share this experience to warn others. It's important to be cautious when dealing with this company, especially if you're relying on their support for legal matters. Their unresponsiveness and disappearance can cause significant setbacks and headaches.

I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. It's essential to find a reliable and trustworthy company that delivers on their promises. Avoid this company at all costs, there are many better options.
