Not your typical bad-review poster here, but this situation demands it.
Lack of diligence in obtaining permits for solar panels removals for reroofing. Cant get a permit executed from Momentum Solar in over 2 months when the roofers obtained the permits for their part in a couple of days. To make matters worse, we received call back after many weeks to set up the removal early last week, we inquire about making sure city permits had been obtained, noticing this wasnt done, they decide to let us know of another call back, which we got to push the dates back a few more days, finally got them removed on a Saturday when city is closed. To our surprise, Monday morning we call the City of Sunrise to confirm the only permit pending is that of the roofer and nothing else is on record for solar panels as of today (job was done without permits). We call Momentum Solar and all they can say is have it "tasked" as in a to-do list while we get no solar panels nor a reroofing all because of their lack of competence. In the meantime, we lose money on the panels not being used, on a potential code violation from the city, and on insurance because of the delay on the roof work not being done because they cant get the attached permit from the panels. We need a proper resolution for this major flop and we expect this can be reviewed and dealt with immediately.

We used Momentum Solar for our installation about 5 years ago. One thing is to hire a company to install solar panels and another thing is for that company to be around years later to actually do warranty work in a timely manner. I did a reroof on my home 5 years after the solar panel installation. They came in, took everything out and when roof was done they put everything back on better than how it was. I appreciated that and is the reason why after 5 years I'm writing this review. I have also experience two low production panels and one micro-inverter replacement and both where replaced under warranty no questions asked. Thank you.

Momentum Solar leadership reached out to me like they said they would, and were kind enough to work on a solution. I am very happy with their response to my situation and their willingness to stand behind their workmanship. Their customer service is stellar. Thank you!

We had our panels installed roughly 5 years ago which puts us conveniently outside of their warranty coverage. Within the first year we experienced several leaks in our roof which they did come and fix, but the issues still persist. The last repairman indicated an issue with the product they used to seal the holes leading him to use a different product to help permanently correct the issue. Sadly, we are now experiencing further degradation of the faulty sealant in other areas which is now affecting the drywall. I called their support line to report the issue, but they claimed we were outside of coverage and I will need to hire someone to come and repair their subpar installation. In other words, I would be very cautious about using Momentum as your solar panel provider/installer. Not only did they never return my call to let us know that they had no intention of sending someone, but they do not stand behind or admit they used a faulty sealant to begin with. I hate to say we will be reaching out to our family attorney to hopefully reach a mutually acceptable solution.

Very disappointed with this company. Sales guy after he did de sales never answer my call, Then after that project manager call me to resolve my problems and he was there until installation was done, now I call him, sent email and never answer me, I don’t who to call for any problem, I spoke to another manager that he will be there for my issue but he did not answer my messages.
I have some friend that need solar panels and I told them not to go with Momentum Solar, communication is the worse in this earth.

I’am Vinicio Morales again , one of the panel being like not good since months, I called many times customer services for repair and up today panels is not fix, communication is the worse in this company, customer service said something and the repair department said another word, the part is already at the warehouse to be ship to my house and this simple job is not done by momentum solar, technician went three times to my house to repair the issue but part still at their warehouse.
I need to resolve my issue, is being already months loosing energized and money, someone need to paid my lost.

STAY AWAY! this company from the sales rep to everybody else in the company is beyond incapable of handling simple tasks. They were supposed to do my roof and and my solar and weren’t able to get plans approved for my roof because their permitting department is clearly incompetent. They had already opened the solar permit and never closed it so now I am at the building department trying to cancel permits and being fined $10,000 for code compliance issues and having my entire house inspected by code enforcement because of them. Meanwhile when you try calling their company you don’t get put through to anyone

Who are you people. They call multiple times in a day. You block a number and they call from a different number. No voicemails. Nobody wants your scammy solar. Stop CALLING.

I wish we had read some of these reviews before conducting any business with this company. March 2024 makes 1 year since we decided to have Momentum install solar panels on our roof. The panels were installed November of last year and at the time of writing this review they have not been energized. So, we are still paying our normal electric bill as well as repaying the company that financed the purchase of the panels. The city inspector has been to our home several times but unable to approve the work that was done for one reason or another. We have now gotten a letter in the mail that the permit will expire April 1 and if the panels are not in service they will have to be removed. My husband emailed the letter to Momentum over a week ago and no one has contacted us. I am yet to read where someone has had a positive experience with Momentum.

I worked for Momentum Solar in 2021-2022.

As a company, they hire anyone willing to work including criminals, and do not conduct background checks whatsoever (Look up Daniel Gray, the January 6th insurgent, he was my co-worker in Tampa - See photo attached).

As a culture, they are toxic, vulgar and profane beyond any imagination.

If any of you can't make sense of the fake reviews herein, then you deserve to be taken for a ride.

Can't you see that their positive reviews come from individuals with only 1-3 reviews and strange names, no profile pics, no other involvement on Google....?
