Wow, From start to finish this company has been very good to me . It started with our salesperson (Rob Dunphey ), he was a professional, knowledgeable, and He had such personality. Each step in the process went smoothly. We just had our install and are ready to get up and running. The roof was done and panels installed. We are ready to start collecting energy. Momentum Solar you did very good work ,may your company go higher . Thank you for being a reputable solar company ☺☺

I had signed up with other Solar company but it went out of business even before work started. I am glad I ran into sales rep in Home Depot. From first visit to installation it took less than 2 months. Everyone was very professional. I am glad because it saved me big bucks in electric bill.

I have had ongoing problems with Momentum Solar regarding the project installed at my residence. I have filed two previous BBB complaints to get them to respond to requests for service. The BBB has been the only action that seems to make them honor the warranty although their response is not necessarily timely.
On July 9th I called Momentum Solar concerning the solar battery (Sonnen) installed by Momentum. They sent a technician to the house and he reset the breakers and said it was fixed, he did not do any type of diagnostic work. The system went off line less than 24 hours later. I contacted Momentum again on July 11 and July 24 and was told that the issue was sent to the Orlando office for scheduling. I submitted a maintenance issue to Sonnen and they opened a case and said that Momentum needed to contact them. On August 8 I relayed this information to the Orlando service facility and followed up with a phone call. Sonnen contacted me twice to ask when Momentum would be at the residence to troubleshoot the system and after nearly four weeks with no action closed the case. Since then I have made multiple phone calls to get this issue resolved. On October 17 I called and told them I needed this resolved immediately. They forwarded the case to the Orlando office but there was no response. I called again on October 18 and they sent a technician who told me that the wiring had been changed and that was the issue. Once again the solar battery went offline 12 hours later. On 21 October I contacted Sonnen and was told a technician would be onsite withing two weeks. On 22 October I insisted that this issue be escalated and was told a technician would be at the residence on 23 October. The scheduler told me that the two month delay since July and the lack of availability of technicians was due to the hurricanes. When no one showed on October 23 I started making inquiries and was bounced from the technician to the service manager. The service manager told me that there was nothing he could do since the battery required third party support and the Momentum team lacked the technical knowledge to resolve, a product that Momentum installed. I was not given a time frame for repair or any assurance that this was a priority repair after being inoperable for fast approaching three months.
Once again I end up having to use the BBB complaint system to get Momentum senior management attention to an ongoing issue. The internal escalation system does not work and ends up back at the Orlando service manager level and that office clearly has no desire to resolve my issues as it has been at their level for three months. I paid good money for a system that does not work and for warranty/repair service that is not provided.
What do I want? I want the system REPLACED with a comparable product that Momentum can and WILL service in a timely manner (Momentum does not use this brand of solar battery anymore and they now use an Enphase product that they are able to monitor and service) . I want this issue to be given a priority higher than new installs and I want a dedicated project manager to monitor this issue until completely resolved.

Momentum Solar is genuinely unique due to its outstanding customer service. To ensure I was happy with the service, every team member I dealt with went above and beyond. They gave me regular updates on the status of my installation and were always accessible to answer any questions. I heartily urge everyone thinking about solar energy to check out Momentum Solar. Their exceptional customer service, coupled with their experience and professionalism, sets them apart from other companies in the market. I'm grateful to Momentum Solar for making my transition to solar energy a seamless and enjoyable experience.

I have been a customer of Momentum Solar for the past three years, and I have been an early adopter in my development. After that, at least 15 homes went solar. By and large, my experience was good until now. but the gateway issue started in the second week of March and after trying to fix it myself, I raised the issue to momentum. They sent the technician after 3 weeks to diagnose, and the gateway was fixed after 3 weeks from that. All this time, I was told that the production would be happening, and the issue was only reporting it. Finally, the gateway and the micro inverters started reporting on June 17th and it is being reported. But from March second week to June second week - three months of production data is still missing. I called customer service again two weeks ago and was told to wait for some more time. Today, I called again and spoke to one Mr. Diego (he wouldn't even give his last name to me). He told me they don't have that data and they cannot do anything about it. Then why did they mislead me that the production data will be reported once the gateway starts functioning again? He didn't have the answer, and he was not ready to even understand my issue. He kept on saying the same thing, and he was not even ready to raise a ticket. Here, I have just lost close to $700 for no fault of mine, and he couldn't care less. It is one thing I can afford, but why should I? How many assurances were given during the sales process about the turnaround time for repairs, and what is happening now? I told Mr. Diego that if this issue was not solved, I would sue them for damages, and I am prepared to spend a lot more for that. Not so much for $700, but to protect my investment in solar and other gullible customers' too.

The representative they sent was nervous, and didn't really know much about the product they were selling. He uploaded my energy bill and then wasted an hour of my time while we waited for someone else to review it. He spent that hour rambling about nothing. Eventually he told me he didn't like his job and wanted to be doing something else.
While sitting there, I pulled up reviews and started reading them to him, told him we were done, and it was time for him to leave.
Look at the yelp reviews, they are brutal.
Never did receive the estimate they promised.

My wife and I are extremely unhappy with momentum solar. It’s a shame because everything went great with our installation until it came time for inspection. We failed the first inspection because of one signal screw. It happens. They could only schedule the next apt a month later, sure ok. No one came to fix the screw which is on the outside of the house so they could have come any time. Next inspection comes, surprise! Failed again. So now wait another month, we should have been activated in April and now it’s June that we finally do get activated. According to the company it takes 2 months for a “normal bill”. So because of incompetence we’re paying 4 extra months of high electric bills, 2 of which are within the hottest summer in a long time. When I asked for just a $200 credit for 2 months of our solar lease they responded with “we don’t credit for failed inspections” even though it was entirely Their fault. In the end I wish I did way more research. I hope this helps other people avoid this company.
