My realtor recommended Mike Fort - He's with M.E.S.S., but in Santa Cruz location. We have some mold concerns in our house. It's hard to trust an abatement service after hearing horror stories from others. I called, and didin’t receive a response. So I had thought. My mother had just passed away, and my brain was scrambled eggs.... He did in fact leave me a message that I overlooked. Even after accusing him of not being attentive, he was still quite friendly and didn't flinch. Mike came to our house and looked at the problem areas. I dragged him around the house looking at everything. He was friendly, and knowledgeable. He told me our problems were simple fixes and not a serious concern that required his services. He explained why and what needed to happen. He wrapped it up and started to leave. I asked what the charges were, and he said zero. He considered it a consultation.
