We saw this store from the street and had to take a look. They sell all kinds of jerky, including mushroom jerky. I asked about the top seller, which is the chipotle bourbon beef. It did not disappoint. I also bought the mushroom jerky and dark chocolate covered bacon, pending review. The manager, Rief, was very friendly and the prices were reasonable.

We love House of Jerky ! Great location, deliciously fresh jerky, awesome selection of old time sodas and candy and gifts, too! The Jerky selection is amazing with exotic meats and also Vegetarian options. Oh, you must try the Sea Otter Poo Candy !! There's a hot sauce wall that includes the newly famous "ROCK Sauce!!" Very friendly people - it's a must see if you visit Morro Bay!!

We were staying in the hotel just above this shop and decided to take a look. Bought 3 types of hot sauce and the habanero tri-tip jerky. All were awesome. The jerky is especially delicious. Moist and well seasoned, just the right amount of heat. Great customer device and great little shop. When we come back, we'll definitely stop in to try some new flavors

Great place to try various types of jerky and styles. Besides your normal beef jerky in various seasonings they have turkey, Ostrich, Salmon and more. Prices are reasonable for the going rate of jerky and being in a fairly touristy area. The staff were friendly as well and the place clean. Worth checking out while in Morro Bay.

They have a lot of jerky, those jerks….. If those jerks don’t sell you some jerky, they’re a bunch of jerks considering how much jerky those jerks have. I’m a tad upset those jerks didn’t warn me off that Carolina Reaper Jerky. At least I can safely say I don’t have any intestinal parasites now. I also have half a bag left to torture other people with.

Like all the other reviewers, i had an excellent experience at this shop. They have an large selection of flavors for beef jerky, something for everyone, sweet, savory, spicy and delicious combinations. We love the spicy sweet but will definitely be back to try more flavors! There are also less common and exotic jerkies as well as hot sauces, mustards, honeys, handmade fudge and candies. Great prices, I'd recommend this shop for any jerky lover or anyone looking for a nice sauce/natural honey. Lots of great gift ideas in here too!
