We stored our camping van here for a short time and it was such an exceptional experience. The communication was excellent, getting the paper work set up was easy, the facility is safe and secure, it is very easy to pay your bill online each month whether you choose to process it each time or use automatic withdrawal. When we no longer needed the storage space it was simple to terminate our contract and everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend Morro Bay Stow-Away enough.

Multi-level storage facility for smaller units and single story building for larger units. Security gate entrance only. Big downside for me is there's no elevator available. Appointment needed to rent a unit. Centrally located with easy access on and off highway.

Thank you so much for responding, and outright lying in a public forum in that response. That shows everyone what kind of person you are far better than my review could have. My picture showing email with rent increase & the reason for that rent increase is below.

My original Review:
They are raising the rent to pay for upgrades that now block what used to be 24 hour access. Now you can only get to your personal belongings 7am -7pm. On site manager is very rude. It is now very difficult to get to my unit because of the gate. When a new car comes I have to move my vehicle to let the gate open. Also they appear to delete bad reviews... so we'll see how long this one will stay up. I'd recommend going with another storage place.

I would like to have given a 5 star rating but unfortunately I can not. My parents died last year and I stored their urns in my storage here. I needed to leave in the middle of the night for the trip to spread their ashes. I was denied access and wasn't about to hop the gate as the hours you can get to your storage is from 7am to 7pm. Unbelievable. I lost a whole day on what is lifetime event.
