Had it delivered, so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, but the Chicken Noodle Soup and BLT I got were both freakin fantastic. Tried my roommate's sandwich: Pastrami and Corned Beef on Rye - excellent. Highly recommend to scratch that 'classic deli' itch in Hyde Park.

I cannot recommend enough. I wasn’t expecting much going in but I was pleasantly surprised. The hot pastrami tasted like it was cooked at home. The atmosphere is no frills and very working class and they were insanely fast with my order. I will definitely be coming here regularly.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and changed out the bagel for French bread. I also asked that they add ham and use provolone instead of American cheese. it was so good although I will say they should have added some type of mayo or something to on the bread. Overall great sandwich and this was my first time here.

Sandwiches were ok, maybe I was expecting something more. Chicago dog my wife got was better and better value than the sandwiches the rest of us got. For all of the peppers on the Italian beef sandwich, it didn’t have much flavor and the bun was nearly soaked thru/falling apart after a bit. Was not far from the Museum of Science, so it worked out as a late lunch. Lastly, bring cash otherwise there is a 3% up charge for credit cards.

Smallest deli sandwiches ever anywhere. The “sky high” had barely any meat; the bread slices were thicker than the meat. Potato salad isn’t made in-house; it’s scooped out of a Walmart bucket. There’s more people buying lottery tickets than sandwiches in here. Would not recommend.

Morry's has been a neighborhood favorite since childhood. From Turkey to Italian Beef, Hot Dogs to Bagel and Lox, and don't forget the soup, Morry's always hooks up good food. The guys that run the place are really nice guys. If you're looking for Chicago classics in Hyde Park, check Morry's out. It's a neighborhood institution.

Just ordered some chili wow it was a salt bucket too much salt flavor. Couldn’t eat at all! Even my man tried it said the same thing too salty with a gas face! If I would have been there I would have given it back, but I did an Uber eats. Trash can it goes.
