Had a pretty unprofessional experience with them for an asbestos survey. They did not follow their own written guideline on how to collect samples and as a result contaminated the samples, resulting in a false positive. We had to pay for a second more extensive test to get the correct result, which was a negative.
Additional comments based on the owner's response: No sir you are hiding the facts, even though you admitted on the phone that your tech did not follow standard process. This is an excerpt from your own document on how the sample should be collected "Bulk samples were collected using the current industries methods and used within this report. Bulk samples are collected by wetting the sample area with a surfactant/water mixture, cut with a sharp decontaminated knife or cored with an asbestos cutter sleeve". I was personally present when the samples were being collected. There was no "wetting the sample area" in fact your tech didn't even have anything to wet the area with. I offered to clean it up using a spray bottle I had brought and he said it was unnecessary. His chisel was definitely not decontaminated he just pulled it out of his tool bag, with clear dirt and debris on the edge, and proceeded to chip away, no attempt to clean it in any way. He could have carried over the dirt from the previous jobs he had done. If this is not neglect I don't know what else is. You were informed of all these facts when we talked.
