A great shop with fresh, local beef, chicken and specialty grocery items. The owner is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. If you call ahead they can get any cut you want, or take a chance on what is in the case, it's all top quality. Would highly recommend to everybody. It is well worth the trip.

I made an appointment to drop off a steer here. After taking the day off work to take care of this I ended up leaving with the steer still in the trailer. Apparently they can only unload a trailer with a roll up door because their loading dock is about a 2' step up. The gentleman then proceeded to rudely tell me that I didn't have a cattle trailer because the door swings open. He told me he would help me this one time but if the steer gets out he's my responsibility not his. I asked for the manager and he said the manager isn't here I'm the boss. I've brought several beef to Salem Prime Cuts with said trailer and never had any problems. Guess I will be driving an hour instead of 25 minutes to get my beef processed. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed

Yet again another great experience with Melissa. She has once again recommend some great meats, her costumer Service is the best as it can get. She is always recommending something for our family and has not let us down. Although I didn’t have our grandkids with me this time, the way she interacts with them is amazing. The prices you can’t beat and the quality of meat is amazing. Thank you Melissa and New England Meat outlet for hitting another Home run

This is HANDS DOWN the worst butcher ever. Im so disgusted. An animal died for this and not once, but twice, the cuts were horrendous. Cut horribly and full of fat. Its clear just by looking at the pieces(pre cooked) that they are not cut well. I dont know who is doing this but they clearly CANNOT cut meat and this left me feeling horribly that a cow was butchered for this. Please, whomever is cutting the meat..please stop.

I ordered a package of 16 hamburgers and two packages of all beef hot dogs for my son’s birthday. Everyone was very helpful and polite. When I arrived they were getting my order ready so that everything was fresh. Everything tasted amazing. We couldn’t be more pleased! Highly recommend!

Cow was butchered according to guidelines and instruction. Packed nicely and frozen solid upon pick up. Pick up was a little clunky trying to find our batch. You’re given a number but when you pick up they ask for farm name. Finally order was located according to last name. No biggie as focus is on safety and processing of meat. Grounds look clean, plenty of parking and assistance with loading was greatly appreciated.
