Boring weird place almost liminal back rooms vibes. Inspected fire extinguishers here total of 530 of them on site. Super big space kinda creepy in some areas. Webs r in no shortage here. Webs ?️ r EVERYWHERE! No spiders that I saw. 14 floors would be awesome to play hide and seek it would be impossible to find anyone here. Like 4 units total and we only found 530 extinguishers I’m sure their r hundreds more hiding out. Half of not all r due for service so bad maintenance on their part but coal dust is everywhere. Gotta wear ur hard hat at all times or u will be thrown off site . Pretty skibbidy . This place is Ohio though definitely not sigma rizz

Shut it down now. PJM wants to extend it by 5 more years at a cost of $70 million per year to rate payers like me, further exasperating anthropogenic climate change. Disgraceful, appalling, disgusting, and irresponsible. $70 million per year can make a substantial difference in stabilizing the grid with clean renewable energy, but instead PJM and Nrg Energy Inc. want to use it against our future and our children. Shut it down. Now.

Update: I'm reading that it's finally going to shut down for good and US Wind is going to use the substation to tie into a new offshore wind farm. Better late than never. I'd like to see a utility scale battery bank get built here at some point for local grid reinforcement.

It produces very low cost electricity. It uses state-of-the-art equipment for clean air and water emissions. It has high paying jobs. It complies with all laws of the land; federal, state and local. It's a large taxpayer to the community. And it helps to provide grid stability, so that electricity can be delivered safely and economically to thousands of residents of the Delmarva Peninsula. Get to know some of the employees who work there including managers and you'll find that this is a top class facility that helps its community and does it safely and economically. What more could be asked of this fine power plant and the people who operate and maintain it? Keep up the great work guys and gals who run this facility! And of course it generates 100% American electricity from American Energy. My only hope is that it continues to run for another 50 years.
